The hostel have common area/ lovely lounge on every floor. Lower bunk is comparative lower than other hostel. Recommend to request for upper bunk if you are tall. Room has poor ventilation, there will be a bit dampness smell. The bus to the busstop infront of the hostel is around an hour per ride, but the neighborhood is lovely to have a walk 10mins to coles and the big bus-stop.

It’s an excellent area very clean and respectful. The staff are lovely and are there to help at any moment. Most of the guests respect the others privacy and clean up after themselves. The only inconvenience is that the kitchen closes at 10pm for security reasons but if you come home later then that you can’t prepare yourself some meals. However you do have a kitchenette on the 2nd floor to help with snacks and quick food preparation.

Close to the city center. A supermarket is nearby. Rooms doesn't have fresh air as no one window is openable. Small space inside rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful)

Only complaint is the location, because buses to Brisbane center has long waiting time. Though it forces this hikikomori to walk more along the beautiful river coast. It is advisable to rent a vehicle beforehand. Also there seems not to be convenience store/supermarket nearby. As for amenities, there is laundry + dryer (AUD 4 + 4) and shared kitchen. But there are no towel, slipper, toothbrush/shaver/shampoo/body wash, so remember to bring your own.

Room stuffy, no ventilation windows and malfunctioning aircon. Hot box.
