Villa Vajrapani

Absolutely beautiful place, approx 14km from Kandy. A beautiful villa, in 9 acres of beautiful, hillside garden. A well maintained infinity pool just caps it off. The homecooked food is absolutely delicious - the Sri Lankan dishes and the feta salad are a must. What caps this place off is the staff - kind, helpful and attentive; just really nice people. They helped me when my driver couldn't access the usual road due to a landslide.

I will definitely book again if I come back to Kandy. Staffs are very friendly. Food and location both are outstanding.

The hotel is hidden away in the mountains outside Kandy, a great spot to relax and unwind. It is about 45 minutes out of central Kandy and 20 minutes to the botanical gardens  but the hotel will helpfully arrange transport if you decide to head into town. The view from the hotel is one of the best I have ever seen and sitting, relaxing in the beautiful grounds was one of the highlights of our time in Sri Lanka. The hotel food is also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious curries available. All of the staff are extremely friendly, warm and welcoming, they went out of their way to make sure we had a good time They also have a very affectionate dog, which was a huge win!

Our stay at the Villa was absolutely perfect. The villa is luxury, with a big clean infinity pool looking out to the most stunning views. It is uo in the hills above Kandy - so it is so peaceful and quiet, it was so relaxing we didn’t leave the whole time. The staff are amazing - so friendly and kind, they go above and beyond. Brian is a superb manager - massive thanks to him!!! The food at the restaurant was so delicious. I will be recommending the Villa to all my family and friends, and we will definitely come back again ourselves.

Lovely place. Clean and hygienic rooms. Amazing hospitality experience. The team took care of everything, from airport pickup till our last day and departure. We would love to come back again and choose Vajrapani as our stay.

We had a really nice time at Villa Vajrapani. It was very relaxing and helped us forget about our work for a while. The villa itself was nice and comfortable. The rooms were big and had everything we needed. What we liked the most was how peaceful it was. We were surrounded by nature and it made us feel calm and stress-free. The food was really good. We enjoyed every meal and the staff made sure to cook it with care. There were many different dishes to choose from, and they even made some special ones for us. We definitely recommend this place!

I had an incredible stay at this hotel with its misty surroundings and a natural waterfall that added to the serene atmosphere. The location was simply breathtaking, and the tranquility of the place was truly calming. The staff made the experience even more memorable – they were incredibly helpful and kind.
