It's in a convenient location; the market, Kenrokuen Garden, and the train station are all within walking distance if you're up for it. Although it felt a little dated, it was very clean, and they even held my luggage for me, which made it very comfortable. I would recommend it to my friends.

You can take a stroll from the hotel to places like Kanazawa Castle. Korinbo was also within walking distance. I didn't go to eat there because I got takeout, but there were curry restaurants and cafes, typical of Kanazawa. There were also many foreign tourists, especially Westerners. The hotel was a twin room, but the bed was large and there were two pillows of different heights. The air conditioner was old, so it was a bit difficult to adjust. The bath water temperature was also a bit of a hassle, as you had to adjust it yourself.

We stayed at this hotel through an organized group tour. The hotel rooms are fairly large. The bathroom is a little dated, but it works well. The beds are comfortable. The hotel has reciprocal privileges with its sister property next door, which is a fancier place. They do have a wine/happy hour next door at their sister hotel that you can take advantage of. This hotel has a laundry room with three all-in-ones machine (wash and dry). It cost about ¥500 to do a wash and dry load, and takes about two hours. I thought that the breakfast buffet was very good. It had a lot of different foods, and I believe they were having a Hokkaido-themed week, so there were some specialties that were particular to that island.
