Bamboo Bungalow

the room and equipment was too old and air-con is not cool. the room hygiene was not hygiene enough. the owner should rennovate and repair the equipments of the room too.

overall, i love the atmosphere but just some rooms has problem with door and toilet and also not recommend who scare of Gecko.

This is a very well priced accommodation but wish we’d known a few things first. There is only a fan in the room which means the room is very warm outside of directly in front of the fan. This did mean we ended up lying side ways on the bed to both reach the fan. The bathroom had mesh across the back so has an outside feel and some outside critters. We had to evacuate a few huge flying beetles across the two nights. It’s a peaceful location further away from Kampot centre than others but there’s always tuk tuks available right out front so isn’t too much of an issue. We probably would stay closer to the centre next time as we prefer to be closer to restaurants, despite the nice views of the river. Showers are okay temp and low pressure but overall fine.

What a great experience our first as a couple … highlight of a whistlestop tour of kampot . The guide was great ! His knowledge of the area was excellent. To top it off we saw the most beautiful sunset ! Sat drinking a cold Cambodian beer…. Just remember your suntan lotion.
