Both dinner and breakfast were served in our room (lol). The dinner, in particular, was absolutely delicious and so plentiful I thought we'd never finish it! It featured a main course of A5 rank Yamagata beef sukiyaki, along with 9 other local specialty dishes. 😍

We stayed for a night in January. such an amazing experience. They pick us up at the station and the staff are very helpful in everway way. They 'have couple of Thai staff that are very helpful with great service mind. Outdoor onsen has a good view. Definitely recommended. Extra reccommend if you are Thai.

Very friendly staff and also take a good care of customer. They have many onsen room which is quite nice, has many brand shampoo to try out. Free drinking water.

This was undoubtedly the best stay of the entire trip! * Staff: A special shout-out to the Thai-speaking staff members who provided exceptional assistance. It made communication effortless and made me feel right at home. Food: The meals were absolutely delicious—fresh, beautifully presented, and authentic. Onsen: The hot spring facilities were incredible. The atmosphere was so relaxing, it was the perfect way to unwind. I highly recommend this ryokan to anyone visiting Yamagata.

Very good service and included private onsen time

I WAS FULLY SATISFIED ON MY STAY TO ARIMAKAN RYOKAN,SERVICE,FOOD, CLEANLINESS WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.PRIVATE ONSEN 7FWAS AMAZING. I ENJOYED IT ALONE FOR 40 MINS.FREE NO CHARGE.AFER I AM DONE WITH MY PRIVATE ONSEN, I SHIFT TO PUBLIC BATH AT B1 .BOTH PRIVATE AND PUBLIC WERE BIG AND SPACIOUS.THE LAST WAS THIER DRIVER RODE ME EARLY IN THE MORNING TO THE NEAREST STATION SO I CAN CATCH MY EARLY SHINKANSEN.FULLY EXCELLENT SERVICE.I WAS OVERWHELMED.THANK YOU SO MUCH , TOKYO SAGAWA CO. 山本アメリタ

Overall the onsen hotel was great. Multiples bath onsen to try. stayed for 2 nights here. Breakfast and dinner served in the room with varieties of local dishes. Negative points mainly due to hotel didn't check the email frequently. emailed to arrange shuttle service from nearest JR station weeks before stay but ended up no reply Nd we have to drag our luggages to the onsen. Breakfast only start after 730am which is too late for traveller who has plan to visit.

Breakfast/dinner is very rich and the portions are sufficient Thanks to the friendly staff for helping me make a reservation by phone, I was able to experience snowmobiling.

Basically, you can experience 3 types of hot spring baths (basic men's and women's public baths + one of the 4 additional family baths for free), and you can use the remaining 3 family baths for an additional fee of 2,500 yen. Two of the family baths are on the rooftop, two are on the first floor, and one of the two is Pamukkale type. Dinner and breakfast are served in the room, and the next day, they even cleaned the snow that had piled up on the car. However, when the air conditioner and heater were turned on high, it was too noisy and I couldn't sleep, and when they were turned on low, it was cold.

The hotel is quite big, the staff is friendly, the lobby smells nice. The room is spacious. Dinner and breakfast are brought to the room. It was tasty and filling. 40 minutes of private onsen are available, we chose the rooftop one. The onsen is large, Japanese style. It is unusual to see a huge light sign in the clouds of steam. The public onsen on floor B1 has a white bath and a hot stone plateau, I recommend it.

The bed sheets are yellowed and messy, the food quality is poor, there is no bottled water, the service is understaffed and the efficiency is not satisfactory. I can't find the reason to come again.

The open-air private bathhouse is super nice. You should choose the bathhouse in Sky 1 or Sky 2 on the top floor.

I am also very satisfied with the hot spring, room, dinner and breakfast. Thank you to all the service staff!

The hotel is nice, the room is big, and the included breakfast and dinner are great. There are many ********* staying here, and the open-air hot springs are basically reserved for their tour groups, so ordinary individual guests can only use the indoor ones. There are ********* waiters who can communicate in Chinese. It takes half an hour to drive to the cable car to the tree ice.
