Located at outskirt of Kyoto. If you are taking public transport, you need to take the JR to Kameoka station and there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel. However, you need to let the hotel know in advance if you need pick up service, they only have it for certain hours. Best way is to call or contact them via Facebook messenger.
Very quiet and serene area. There's nothing much in the vicinity if you don't have a car. If you just want to relax and do nothing, then highly recommended. Do get the package with dinner and breakfast, otherwise there's not much around. The food is kaiseki style and tasty!

Breakfast provided was a simple Japanese style food. About 30mins walk across the lake for a magnificent view of my Fuji across the lake. Shuttle provided to the nearby train station too!

There is a shuttle from Kameoka Station.
You need to make a reservation in advance
There's no place to eat dinner nearby.
You have to take a taxi or something.
If you haven't made a dinner reservation, be sure to take it with you.
