Hotel Route Inn Kyoto Kameoka

The hotel is comfortable and has a large public bath. Its location isn't in the city center, but it's perfect for those traveling by car, especially if you're planning to visit Ine and Amanohashidate. You can stay at this hotel the night before. The parking lot is also very convenient.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Kameoka Station. Although parking is on a first-come, first-served basis, there are plenty of spacious spots, so it's relatively easy to find a place. The front desk offers coffee service, and the fairly large dining area has an all-you-can-drink plan for 1000 yen, which is a nice bonus. The breakfast was decent, nothing special but perfectly acceptable. I stayed in a single room on the 4th floor; the bed was spacious enough, and there was a tabletop mirror, which is a thoughtful touch for female guests. My only minor complaint is that even though I stayed in a non-smoking room on the 4th floor, I noticed a cigarette smell in the elevator lobby and even in the room itself. I suspect this might be because the 3rd and 5th floors are smoking rooms. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. With a Starbucks nearby, I was able to enjoy a pleasant morning coffee as well.

This was our second time staying here. We chose this hotel with our family again because of the large public bath and delicious breakfast. We'd love to come back!

Excellent hotel, clean, and friendly staff! We actually made a mistake with the location ourselves, as we wanted to be closer to Kyoto, but that doesn't change the fact that this is a great hotel!
