The hostel has a great location - it is just 2 minutes from the sea. Inside it is super cozy like home-style decor with an own bar and little cozy lounge. It is quiet and comfortable for staying.

My overall stay was excellent. The location is super convenient for getting around, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was really comfortable, making for a very relaxing sleep. The staff were all friendly and polite, and very prompt in responding to requests. The facilities were well-maintained, and the soundproofing was decent. It's definitely good value for money, and I'd prioritize staying here again next time I'm in the area.

The guest house was cozy and I met interesting people there. Super close to the beach and the train station. If you come back late after 11:00 PM, remember to take the back door becausethe staff will not be available at that time. We had to wait half an hour until other guests show us the way in 😂😂

The room was stuffy and unventilated when we first checked in. There were only two bathrooms, but that wasn't an issue since there weren't many guests that night. The front desk staff spoke good English, so communication wasn't a problem. It's very close to the beach, so anyone who loves the sea will definitely enjoy it.

no AC, especially now it's summer season, so it's really hot at the night
no private space/curtins
and it's a little bit expensive than Tokyo young hotel
actually I don't suggest staying in here, living in Tokyo is more convenience

Great hostel - I extended my stay! It's close to the ocean and the Kamakura Buddha. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby too. They provide slippers. The beds and showers are very clean. There's even a small bar in the hostel with cheap cocktails!

The location near to hase station. The room is a bit stuffy, may be it is on the first floor.

This was my first time traveling abroad, my first time traveling alone, and my first time flying alone. The hotel receptionist, Umiya, was Japanese, and we communicated in English just like good friends. In the evenings, the common area was filled with people from all over the world – Filipinos even gave me snacks, and there were Koreans, French, and Argentinians. It felt like a crossroads, forming a big, temporary family. It's also incredibly close to Kamakura Beach, just a short walk away. This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at.

I caught the Zushi Beach fireworks in Kamakura! I picked up some food nearby to bring along. The beach was completely packed with people... Afterwards, I had dessert at a beachfront brunch spot and discovered some lovely little hidden gems. Kamakura city truly has a fantastic food scene – I even indulged in a fried food set meal!

I booked the bunk-bed room, which turned out to be incredibly small and very inconvenient. The following day, I found a guesthouse run by a local near Enoshima for a comparable price. There, I had access to the entire property, including a lounge, a study area, a bathroom, and free laundry facilities. It was a perfect experience, and I highly recommend seeking out similar options. When visiting Kamakura, I suggest simply buying the Enoden One-Day Pass, as all the main attractions are within a 10-minute ride on the Enoden line. The only advantage of the bunk-bed room was its closeness to the beach.

I only booked this place because nothing else was available in the area. It truly leaves much to be desired: the metal beds creak loudly with every movement, the rooms are tiny, and it can be quite uncomfortable with other guests. On the positive side, there's a spacious common area and complimentary coffee.

The location is fantastic – definitely the biggest highlight of this place. The building itself is a charming wooden structure. The room was adequate, a bit small, but perfectly fine as we only needed it for sleeping. The shared bathroom was clean. Slippers were not provided, and there was an extra charge for towels or luggage storage.
On the day we checked out, a very strange thing happened: a completely naked man was sleeping on the sofa in the common area. I'm not sure if he was a guest. He remained there, sleeping, for a few hours. Perhaps the property needs better supervision?
