I 1000% recommend the hotel is great next to the rice fields, the welcome is top notch! Christophe and Yanti we are keen to welcome you 🥰 for the hotel and the typical Java restaurant in the style we are immediately immersed in Indonesia. We will come back with pleasure but this time with the children!

Go there with your eyes closed! We had a wonderful stay at this hotel run by a lovely couple. We added 2 more nights to enjoy the place. The rooms and the swimming pool are huge, the view of the volcanoes is magnificent and the staff pampered us! Special mention to the restaurant which served us good meals for lunch and dinner without exception! We had a great stay at Villa Sumbing indah. Rubiyanti and Christophe are extremely kind and take great care to ensure that our stay is very pleasant. The establishment is clean, very well maintained, the restaurant is of good quality. The surroundings are superb.

We had booked the suite for 2 nights. We had the unpleasant surprise that the suite was allocated (after our reservation) to regulars. So, we were moved to a house at the bottom of the garden. It was pretty at first glance but we quickly became disillusioned: the cleanliness left something to be desired, the bed was particularly uncomfortable with dismal creaking sounds at every movement, no hot water in the shower.... not to mention that we had to live together with frogs, cockroaches and a multitude of mosquitoes. We cut our stay short by leaving after just one night. As we had booked two nights, and even if we did not have the chosen suite (which seems much more modern), our cancellation still cost us Rp 500,000! What is certain is that we must flee the “vacation house”. The standard rooms looked much better for much less money! The practice of assigning our reservation to another customer is very incorrect. We were too kind and accommodating when we were presented with a fait accompli upon arrival and we shouldn't have been. As for presenting this change to us as an upgrade, that's not very honest...

La gentillesse des propriétaires (et de leur personnel) est exceptionnel et ferait presque passer au second plan le cadre authentique de la chambre, le plaisir de la grande piscine tôt le matin ou en rentrant à la fin d une journée d excursion. Villa Sumbing fut notre premier hôtel sur Java, et 10 jours plus tard j ai enfin trouvé son défaut : on est déçu partout ailleurs...
