Trip to stay in Rimpao hotel, Kalasin during waiting for my house finish, no pictures of Rimpao hotel

Not happy with the condition of the facility and that when I booked the website didn’t say the pool would be unavailable.  The room amenities were poor and breakfast far from adequate  I wouldn’t recommend it to any of my friends

Surprisingly, this hotel is supposed to be one of the best in Kalasin! It's huge, but it's old and the facilities have not been kept up! I paid for what I thought was a deluxe room, but the room was shockingly in poor condition with very few amenities. The shower didn't work, there was no hair dryer, the facilities were very old! I think at the time there were less than 15 people staying in the hotel, and the lunch they served was laughable by Chinese standards! The only feature that seemed moderately attractive was the huge outdoor swimming pool.

Only stayed for the one night and didn't available myself of the breakfast or use the huge pool. The entrance/lobby has a certain monumental charm, although the rooms have undoubtedly lost some of their polish over the years but the essentials all worked - A/C, shower, hot water, tv, lights. For 700 baht it was acceptable.

4 stars? Hardly 2. Hotel to avoid. Breakfast from hell. Old hotel and badly maintained.
