The hotel is really nice. When you walk in the main entrance it looks very good. The lady on the reception was a nice lady and extremely helpful. The room was nicely done up. Then we noticed no kettle!! Me thinking it was an oversize asked her where it was and was told they don't have them. But she will make us cups of hot water if we need it. The bathroom was small with a half bath tub but it was really cold in there. The bedroom was very warm which was nice as it was freezing out there. Don't bother with the breakfast. It felt the hotel mainly geared for coach parties

This hotel is very close to the bus stop, 150 meters walk away, very close to the shops and restaurants, the location is good, the hotel has two sides, we can see the mountains in the direction where we are staying, and we can see the small buildings in the lower part, which is very good. Well, what a lovely place this is! We were taken on a trip by some very kind friends, to experience the beauty and magic of Meteora, and Oikia is where we stayed. Anna-Maria looked after us, and everyone else staying there, so very well. Her English is perfect and she was knowledgeable with all the information you need to visit the monasteries. Our room was lovely - clean and bright, large, with a comfortable bed, lush shower, a private balcony that looked up ant the great rocks, a large and comfortable shared balcony where we could sit and relax, and then a terrific breakfast for €10 each. Loved it all. We will most definitely stay there next time we visit Meteora!

Good choice in Kastraki as close to the monasteries but not crazy busy. The hotel is small and friendly. We had a reasonably large room with a small balcony and decent bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Breakfast was very good with superb coffee and local produce, including fresh pastries. Enough to fuel the walk up the steps to the monasteries and the viewpoints. We stayed for 3 nights and took our time visiting 4 of the monasteries. Most guests seemed to stay only 1 night here. The hotel restaurant, Senses, is more pan-European than the tavernas of the village and made a nice change for dinner. We also had a good quality lunch and pre-dinner cocktails. We appreciated the free gift of wine and the convenience of a fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. Can recommend this hotel and it was a relaxing, convenient place to stay.

Hotel Kastraki has the old charm. We had a nice and comfortable stay there. The staff gave us Meteora map and described each monastery and viewpoint, how to get there, etc. Everybody at Hotel Kastraki were friendly and always smiling. We booked a triple room. It’s got a balcony. The bed was comfortable. Towels and pillows were fresh and clean all the time. The bathroom is a little bit old and needing an upgrade though. I have never seen a hotel where floor is carefully washed each time. The cleaning lady did an amazing job. My husband walked with white socks in the hotel room, bathroom and balcony and socks had no trace of dirt at all, still very white. The breakfast was good. Everything we needed to start the day. We’re satisfied. There’s free parking in front of the hotel.

The hotel is large in scale. Although it is newly renovated, it also has a sense of history. I found an old telephone booth in the lobby on the first floor. The rooms and toilets are very large and very clean. When I checked in, I found that the hotel also thoughtfully gave away a plate of fruits and a chocolate at the head of each bed, which is not a treat in other hotels. The only regret is that the location of the hotel is still a little away from the town. It is still not convenient if you walk to eat. If you have a car, it will be fine. You didn't take Ola very close to the big eye. The next morning, it was less than 15 minutes by car to reach the attraction, which was very convenient.
