It was a great treat to stay overnight in a lovely, comfortable room with a fabulous view of Inuyama Castle. Although I was out sightseeing for most of the afternoon, the castle was lit up until late at night, and I had a relaxed morning in the room before checkout. It was very cool to glance across and see the iconic tenshu there (the roof of another building was also visible). The broader view was delightfully scenic, including the hotel’s landscaped grounds and swimming pool, the river, buildings on the opposite bank and mountains in the background. I had a balcony with an attractive small couch. The room had a large graphic of the castle on the wall behind the bed and lounge (with another graphic under the huge tv), and featured beautiful fabrics and fittings (super light shades!). I particularly liked the wood, and the woven and “rope” designs. The crockery and teapot were very nice. There was quality tea and coffee (Nespresso coffee machine), snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. I enjoyed delicious and artistically-presented room service meals for dinner and breakfast. WiFi was good, and I was happy to find there was an amplifier. The bathroom was well-designed. The hotel had some fun, innovative Christmas trees and illuminations. It’s nicely landscaped with heaps of space and ideally located riverside and adjacent to pretty Urakuen Garden, home to the National Treasure 16th century teahouse “Jo-an”. The castle, Sankoinari Shrine and the historic Jokomachi precinct are within walking distance. You can still see the castle if you don’t book the more expensive castle rooms, as it’s visible from the ground floor restaurant, pool, grounds and lobby, as well as from windows near the lift on each level. I didn’t try the onset or fitness centre. I’d booked directly and joined the IHG loyalty program. This meant I received a special welcome, invited to sit at a desk across from a kind staff member, in the lobby area showcasing local artisan work. All the staff were pleasant and helpful, and there were no issues in getting a cab after checkout. Hope to stay again one day!

There are new halls and old halls in the hotel. The old hall rooms are large and the equipment is not too different. There is a restaurant for eating in the hall, no need to go out for food, and the taste is good. The laundry equipment is set on the first floor of the new hall, and the laundry and drying are separated, and the number is sufficient. It is recommended that tourists who come to Nagoya by car can rest here for one night.

You get a voucher for a frozen meal which you can store in your room freezer and microwave inside your room. The room was nice and cool even though it was summer. It is spacious with a large bed. I had an issue with the Wi-Fi where it said no connection even though I typed in the password, but I was only there to sleep so I didn’t try to ask the staff for help.

I stayed here to celebrate my mother's graduation. I rented a car from Nagoya. If you have a navigation system, you can arrive smoothly. There is a parking lot in front of the inn. An old townscape remains nearby, making it a kind of tourist destination. At the entrance of the parking lot, there is a statue of Basho Matsuo, who is related to the name of the 18th floor. The back of the front desk is the lobby. During the check-in procedure, coffee and juice and wine are also served here depending on the time. You can sit on the sofa and wait slowly. Choose a yukata of the size that suits you here. The hall is barrier-free for the time being, but it seems that the extension is repeated in an old building, and the layout of the hall is a little complicated. Like an inn, there is no coffee in the room and there is a set of tea. This plum kelp tea is delicious. I drank many cups. PET bottle water is prepared for the number of people. You can put your own things in the refrigerator. The room and safe are locked and keyed, and this is the inn. Toothbrushes and towels are available in the room. The large communal bath is １ floor ２ floor ２, and it is a method of changing men and women depending on time. One has an open-air bath and the other has a Roman bath-like bathtub. There is no stress because the washing area is large. There is no sauna. There is a mini tour that will guide you through the nearby cityscape in the evening. You can explain the structure of the town and the origin of the building. No reservation is required and it's free, so it's fun to participate. There are Japanese sweets shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. nearby, so it seems to be fun to eat rice outside. However, the restaurant was full of reservations, so it seems that advance arrangements are essential. Supper is a form taken at the restaurant. Since each family is almost separated like a private room, it has a high sense of privacy and you can relax and have dinner. Meals are Japanese kaiseki using local foods such as Hida beef and cherry blossoms. They will lay the futon in the room during dinner. Breakfast is a buffet style in a banquet hall-like place different from the dinner place. The seats are wide and the tables are large and easy to use. I felt that it would be nice if there were a little more colored fruits 々. All the inns were kind and comfortable. I want to stay again.

I used it because it was near Mt. Jinhua, which was the purpose of the trip. The view of the Nagara River, Mt. Kinka and Gifu Castle, which flows slowly from the window of the room, excites the atmosphere of the trip, and it was good to choose the river side because it was a little price difference. Not only the view, but also the size of the room, the comfort of the bed, the comfort of the sofa, the bathroom were large, and the size of the washbasin that two people could use side by side, so I was able to spend a very comfortable time. Since I have stayed only for business for a while, the difference is clear, but it is a ”city” brand. Since I arrived late, the restaurant for dinner was confirmed by the front desk at check-in and was able to enter smoothly. It was delicious to enjoy various tastes at the half-order buffet centered on Italian. The contents of the breakfast buffet are also substantial in Japanese and Western styles. During the three consecutive holidays, I used it during the most crowded time, so I became a seat in the lounge next door, but away from the hustle and bustle of the cooking counter, breakfast while looking at the garden on the spacious sofa, It was good to relax and enjoy coffee. I would like to use it if I have the opportunity to stay in Gifu.

The room is very big. The waiter was very enthusiastic and introduced the surrounding attractions in detail. The hotel is also conveniently located. The room also has a massage chair, which is very considerate. I will stay in this hotel next time.

We stayed on the second day of our solo trip to Shiga and Gifu. It is a very convenient location, a few minutes walk from JR Gifu station and MEITETSU Gifu station. There is a bus stop to each direction in front of you, and it is also perfect for sightseeing such as Gifu Castle (Gifu Park). The single room was a little wider with 15.9㎡ and the bed width was 160cm and comfortable. The desk was also large and easy to use in a study style rather than a normal wall arrangement. The facilities were clean. The bathroom and breakfast buffet are standard.

Free breakfast, just a good feeling for those who want to eat lightly. Chicken Chan Chan baked was not suitable for their mouth. Free coffee is not particularly delicious and not unpleasant. The room was clean and the minimum necessary was available and I didn't feel inconvenient. It is close to the station and is far from the customs town, so it is a safe location for women. I chose it because there was a washing machine, but there was only ３ (paid) and the person (man) who was left behind after use did not appear easily, and I called the front desk and asked him to avoid it. I waited for about an hour to use it in the first place. While waiting, there were three people (all women) who came to check the vacancy of the washing machine to the same Yuo as myself. I don't want to use coin laundry outside the hotel at night. I hope you can understand the use of laundry.

It is a comfortable Dormy Inn. You can enter the elevator hall of Dormy Inn from the building ２ floor because it is connected by the adjacent parking lot (charged ２４ time １０００ yen) and the outer corridor. The front desk and the large communal bath restaurant are a little irregular on the ６ floor. The large communal bath is a simple alkaline hot spring, so the hot water is slimy, and I liked it because it was like a hot spring. I thought it would be better to eat in a small bowl and tongs than to divide it from a platter. Satisfaction is high. If you present a parking ticket to the front desk, you can settle the accommodation fee and parking fee, so it will be convenient for those who need a receipt.

The hotel is very new and spacious. Our check-in was quick and staff greeted us warmly. There was free parking, which is an advantage. Rooms are very spacious and well designed, there were room to laid out 2 big luggages. The view to the river nearby was also great. The hotel kindly offers a map of the city and restaurant info. They also offer to help book the restuarants. However, some info was not updated because a restaurant the hotel said is open turns out to be closed. Any how, our stay was pleasant.
