Good lower cost hotel if you are at an exhibition in Cannes. Close to station. Wouldn’t let me check in early which was a pain. Seemed inflexible

The Best Western Hotel Astoria was excellent. The location was great, just a few minutes walk from the beach and also very close to the train station. The staff in particular were really wonderful and Houda especially went out of her way to make us feel really welcome and at home. Thank you, Houda for making our stay so special. We will definitely be back!

It can only be said that it is very average. Because of the Monaco F1, accommodation in Nice is very expensive, so I have no choice but to come here.
There is a parking space in the backyard, but we arrived late due to flight delay, so we were not allowed to park, and they were told that it was full. When we entered the room, we saw that there were several parking spaces in the backyard...

Hotel is in a great location for the beach, but that’s about it. The hotel is tiered, and in need of some love, but functional if you just need a base.
Staff at the hotel are inconsistent- we were greeted by one of the rudest ladies I have ever had the displeasure of meeting in a hotel - her attitude was one of ‘why are you here, why are you bothering me, and what do you want’ - why she works in hospitality I really do not know but Best Western, I’d put her as far away from guests as you can. Throughout the stay, same demeanour with all guests / requests (roll eyes when asking to use an iron, tuts on being asked a question). On the other hand, the older gentleman also on the reception couldn’t have been nicer.
Breakfast was ok if a little underwhelming , - given we’d already paid an addition for breakfast to have a sign up that fried/ poached eggs are a further supplement is just bizzare. Eggs are a staple of breakfast…

Rooms are small and basic. No luxury but it's reasonably priced and the room has balcony. Perfect location.
