I was looking forward to comfort and a lot better installation than I saw. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. After the bathroom was a little ”fatiated” or everything is right.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Lyon, with the Tram conveniently located right in front of the hotel. This makes it incredibly easy to get to the city center and explore all that Lyon has to offer. Additionally, the hotel has a great vibe, with a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The breakfast at the hotel was also a highlight. There were plenty of options available, with something to suit every taste. From fresh pastries to eggs, everything was delicious and well-prepared. Overall, I highly recommend the Eklo Lyon hotel. The combination of its clean and comfortable rooms, convenient location, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast make it a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Lyon.

The hotel is very close to the Padiu train station and bus station, just 200 meters away from the north gate. The train station has recently been renovated and requires a detour. There are many restaurants, supermarkets, and large shopping malls next to the hotel, making eating and transportation very convenient. Breakfast doesn't have much variety, but it's clean. The structure of the room is a bit messy, not very big, and the balcony is not well protected. It is probably because the apartment was converted into a hotel. The service staff were very warm and friendly. The room didn't seem to be cleaned every day. I stayed alone for two days in a row so I didn't mind.

After 3 nights (payed in advance)passed at the hotel from 5 to 8 July 2023 I extended one night from 8 to 9 in agreement with the hosts paying initially with breakfasts In this night from 8 to 9 while I was sleeping, I receive a call at midnight and half of the night watcher to specify that: as I wasn't here, I should go and set the room. I tell him he wakes me up and I'm in my bedroom. He intimates me to go down to pay my room immediately. I remind him that he just wakes up and that I will fix before I leave, as agreed on the request for extension. He replies: ”If you don't go down to pay next, I go up.” Twenty minutes later, he came to my door and I woke up again and after opening, I tell him that it is not a question that I'm going down to pay now. Following these repeated incidents, I don't find my sleep because of the surprise and anger related to her attitude I talk about this morning to the host employee who is surprised by such behavior. I don't think I'm guilty of this night of hotel, but the employee tells me that if I don't pay it is to her to pay. I'm still waiting for his call despite two calls from me.

The location is on a small hill. If you have luggage, it may be difficult. The environment is quite beautiful, but the bed is very short. Another thing that is more surprising is that the counter already asked me to pay the city tax when I checked in, and asked me for a city tax when I checked out. She was very suspicious and told me that she didn't trust me. It said that the computer showed that the payment has not been made. I don’t know how the computer wrote it, so I asked her to ask her staff directly. From my experience, guests will be charged when they check in. She also showed a very suspicious I will continue to take what I have... 😊 It took a while to check out, it can be seen that there is a problem with the system of this family~

Facilities: The location is right next to the Part Dieu station, but there is construction around it, so you need to take a detour after leaving the station, about a few hundred meters. The facilities are very new, good sound insulation, capsule coffee machine, and the bed is very comfortable. The lobby bar on the first floor is very lively. Environment: Surrounded by shopping malls, shopping is convenient. Also very close to Paul bocuse market. Service: Very warm and thoughtful, prompt greetings. Overall recommended.

The Hilton DoubleTree Hotel in Lyon offers a passable room with special comfort beds that ensure relaxing sleep. The rooms are comfortable furnished and offer everything you need for a pleasant stay. However, the hotel is a little remote, which means that it may not be the best choice for travelers who prefer a central location or want to explore the city walking. Connection to public transport could be improved to facilitate access to the attractions and the city centre. Overall, the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel in Lyon offers a solid accommodation with first-class beds, but the location could be a restriction for some travellers.

15min walk from Lyon Part Dieu. Due to construction works, walking and dragging luggage became challenging and not as direct. There was a huge Westfield Mall where you can shop and dine. 10min walk to car rental office. There was a pickup area for us to load up luggage to our rental car just beside the hotel. Check-in process was a bliss. Staff was friendly. Sanitisers were always available. Room was relatively much smaller than Paris hotel. Barely enough space for 2x large luggage. Nevertheless, room was clean and dust-free. Toilet had decent space. Recommended for as a stopover hotel. Probably a night stay.
