"Another great visit to Jolly Beach Resort. Yes, JBR is an older resort but clean and quiet. We enjoyed an amazing Christmas dinner with a huge feast of Seafood and traditional Christmas fair. The children singing in the courtyard was just delightful. The whole visit was relaxing."

"This was our first time in Antigua and our first time doing a proper resort holiday. We were really happy with Jolly Beach. It’s great value for money and the beach and location are genuinely beautiful. The only reason I’m knocking off stars for service is due to a memorable encounter at the tours desk with a lady called Margaret. I say memorable because it may have been the most perplexingly combative interaction of my life, all from politely enquiring about a boat trip. Still not entirely sure what I did to deserve such a scathing response… perhaps I chose the wrong boat.  In any case, I’m hoping it was just a one-off and that Margaret’s day improved afterwards, because aside from that surprising exchange, the remainder of the stay was nice and the other staff were friendly."
