The Bess Homestay

It has been a very bad experience. The microwave was not cleared and had leftover food from previous stays (not sure how long) and caused a really strong odour in the kitchen. Moreover, we waited for two hours for our room to be cleared as the owner did not put the card in the locker and caused us to cancel our dinner reservation. Master room toilet, towel holder almost drop. Found ants on the bedsheet. This is the most unacceptable R&F apartment that I have booked so far.

We had a bad experience with the car park. First the car provided did not allow us to enter the car park. The attendant ask us to obtain a RFID for the car park. After an exchange of words he allowed us to enter using his card. Exiting the car park also faced the similar problem. Secondly, after parking at the designated parking lot, we were not given the accress code to enter the lift lobby to go to our unit. The only access we had by using the card provided was via the service lobby and using the service lift with was not very pleasant. Thirdly, when we whatsapp the hotline to request for the access code to the lift lobby and also the RFID matter we did not get any response at all. These were not what we expected from our stay and urge the management to solve this problem for future guest. Otherwise our stay was fun and the unit was good.

I recently stayed at The Bess Homestay, and my experience was a mix of great potential and major frustration. The Positives: Lovely Design: The property itself is quite nicely designed with a modern, aesthetic appeal. The View: It offers a decent "sea" view, which provided a nice backdrop for the stay. The Negatives: No Aircon: Unfortunately, the air conditioning was non-functional during for 2 out of 3 room. This made the room incredibly uncomfortable and difficult to relax in. Unresponsive Service: To make matters worse, trying to get help was impossible. The management's WhatsApp line was entirely unresponsive, leaving us stranded with a broken aircon and no solutions. Verdict: While the place looks great on the surface, the lack of basic maintenance and nonexistent customer service ruined the experience. I cannot recommend staying here until they fix their communication and ensure basic amenities actually work.

Have stayed in r and f a few times in phase two and this is the best unit so far . It is in the middle and can see seaview Will definitely come back

Everything was perfect after checking in. However at night there is a lot of ants and cockroaches running around.

Room was very clean and tidy. However one of the rooms aircon was leaking heavily. Had to off the aircon. Did inform the owner but no response. Overall, it was a good stay.

Key card didn't work at arrival, Owner didn't respond to my different calls,after claims to reception we find issue Not really fair nobody respond when knowing our arrival time Some commodities misses in the appartement No battery to open TV only 2 glasses for a 3 bedrooms appartement Kitchen missed a lot of furniture

Check-in process is smooth, simple and hassle-free.  Rooms are big with 2 bathrooms.  Basic like disposable toothbrush, shampoo, body wash and towels are provided.   Comfortable place to stay for family anf friends.

Very spacious rooms and two functional toilets, but recommend to bring your own soap and shampoo. The bed and pillow has abit of musty smell so its not the best. They offer luggage storage service but do note it’s not an office where you can collect anytime you want, you need to message the staff and depending on your luck, their response time may vary. Location is good just opposite R&f mall.
