Puyuanshu Hotel

The hotel is really close to the scenic area, about a ten-minute drive! It's very new and has no strange odors. It doesn't feel like a B&B at all; it's more like a star-rated hotel, and I was genuinely impressed after checking in! Breakfast was also quite varied, with many options to choose from.

The hotel location was a bit hard to find. Parking would be a huge hassle during peak season, and if you're heading to Jiuzhaigou, you'll hit a lot of traffic in the morning, or your car might get blocked by other parked vehicles, forcing you to call their owners yourself. The biggest issue is that the hotel doesn't offer room service, doesn't have food delivery robots, and doesn't allow delivery drivers to bring food up. Every time I ordered takeout, I had to go down to pick it up myself, which was extremely inconvenient. It's the first time I've encountered such an annoying situation. On the bright side, the hygiene and environment were quite good, which is expected for a new hotel.

The room was clean and hygienic, and being a new hotel, it didn't have any strange smells. The service was quite good. However, the breakfast was a letdown (definitely not worth 58 RMB), and the shuttle service relied on the owner driving back and forth. For our return trip, we ended up on a large public bus, which I recommend they improve. Other than that, everything else was good.

The hotel was very clean, and the Tmall Genie smart speaker was a nice touch. The front desk staff were all great and even helped me with the TV. It was a bit chilly though. Right across the street is a big mountain. They offer a shuttle service to the scenic area, but not for pickup. Coming back, I took a taxi from the scenic area entrance for a flat rate of 20 yuan. There's no shuttle service to the high-speed rail station. For breakfast, because there weren't many guests, we had a table-served meal.

There was absolutely no strange smell in the room, it was super clean! The location was also easy to find, and there's a big parking lot. The service was great too; when we went for breakfast, the staff even brought the food directly to our table 🥹 It was wonderful!

The hotel is new but doesn't have any strange smells, and breakfast is delivered right to your room, which is a nice touch. They also offer a thoughtful shuttle service; they picked me up from the station when I arrived in Jiuzhai and can drop you off at the scenic area service center in the morning. The facilities are new, and the service is great. I'd definitely stay here again.

The room was excellent, and very clean. The front desk staff upgraded my room, which was a nice surprise. Even though it was off-season, they delivered breakfast to my room, and it wasn't a half-hearted effort at all – absolutely fantastic. I also snapped a couple of photos of the lobby decor; the moment you step in, it just feels so welcoming and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here. This is an honest review.

The room was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The natural light was excellent, and sitting by the window, I could enjoy a broad view of the mountains outside. It was very relaxing.
