The service at this villa was truly impeccable. The staff were quick to respond and always ready to resolve any issues that came up. I really have to give a huge shout-out to them for working hard and tirelessly — someone needs to give them a bonus! However, while the service was excellent, the villa itself was not in top condition.
The toilet door was a major issue — it locked our child in twice during our stay because the door would get stuck as soon as you closed it. Help arrived quickly, but it still took around 30 minutes to remove a glass panel and free our child. This was a very unpleasant experience and certainly not ideal for a vacation.
The rest of the villa was also disappointing. The building felt old, and many things seemed faulty. The bathrooms had a musky, unpleasant smell, which was very off-putting. Additionally, there were no plates or cups in the kitchen for us to use, and we had to keep asking for extra water. To make matters worse, they didn’t even contact my friends, who were staying in a separate villa, to guide them on how to check in, simply because they didn’t have a Chinese mobile number.
The location was also not as close to the ski slopes as expected — it’s a good 10-15 minute walk away. The main restaurant area was even further.
While the service was great, the villa itself really needs some attention and improvement. It wasn’t quite the experience we were hoping for.
