This is not only my favourite hotel in Jiaxing, but it is my favourite hotel, period. I go there every time I visit Jiaxing. Like most highly rates hotels, it is clean, has a good breakfast buffet, etc. What sets this hotel appart for me though is the service. They somehow always have very friendly staff at the front desk who go above and beyond. It also has a good drier to go along with their washing machines, which is fairly rare in China.

The room is new, spacious and in a good location. On New Year's Eve, we saw fireworks in the distance at the hotel because of the high floor. The only drawback is that there are no bed guardrails for children. Our group booked 4 rooms, one of which was upgraded to a suite. An unexpected surprise. There were also a lot of people at breakfast. There was no queue on the first day, and everyone went in to find seats. It was very chaotic. For breakfast the next day, hotel staff were at the door to maintain order, and you had to wait in line to get a seat before going in to dine. Feel much better.
