I had an incredible stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the kind and handsome staff greeted us warmly, helped with our luggage, and even upgraded us to a beautiful, spacious room with stunning views. He also surprised us with some snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the egg dish😊, I’d love to know the recipe if the owner sees this review!😂 On the second day, when we were preparing to climb Mount Fanjing Shan, the staff went above and beyond by providing us with gloves and a raincoat, as well as offering us a lift. Their generosity and attention to detail truly made our trip so much more comfortable. We had such a great time and are so grateful for the hospitality. I highly recommend staying here. P.S. This hotel exceeded our expectations by far. The attention to detail and the warm service made it feel extremely special and comfortable. The garden and the rooms are super beautiful with so much attention to detail. It felt like a sacred, holy place with its temple, library and tea room as well as the garden. The staff was very friendly and helped us out a lot with planning our trip. The drive us to the Fanjing Mountain and also organized a driver to pick us up in Tongren when we came and a driver to drive us to Fenghuang the day we left. Also they had amazing foods and although we are vegetarians and don’t eat meat they had plenty of options. We were lucky to meet a master (teacher) of Buddhism and his student (a tea master who was learning about Buddhism from him). They also made this trip very special since we got invited to traditional tea ceremonies and were able to listen to the singing of prayers and traditional Chinese instruments they played for us. This hotel is the perfect place for these sort of guests and it’s perfect if you want a relaxing meditative Chinese experience. The surrounding countryside is very beautiful as well and perfect for going on a walk to explore a little. We hope we will be able to come again in the future.

It was such a surprise find at Fanjingshan. The rooms are big with modern facilities including toilet seat sensor. The inn also has a lift for those with big luggages and don’t want to climb the stairs with them, a feature that is not in all the inns around. We have such a comfortable stay, even if it was just for a night. We took a didi to the inn in the evening and in the morning, the owner drove us to the gate of Fanjingshan to purchase the tickets. He also offered to pick us up when we are done for the day at fjs. He also helped us to engage a driver who drove us to fenghuang ancient town for a fair price based on our cab fare from Tongren to fjs. I will definitely recommend this inn which is also new, opened in March 2023. 房间干净偏大，负有摩登设施。 民宿里也有电梯，无需扛大行李上楼。 我们住得舒适也吃得好。 推荐！

First of all, I would like to compliment the lady boss, Ms. Chen and Madam Liu for their thoughtfulness, hospitality and kindness during our 2 nights stay in the homestay. We were allocated 2 room units at level 5 for a 2 x double bed size and 1 x queen bed size for my family. The homestay had installed a lift to provide the guests easy access to their allocated room unit without carrying heavy luggage bags up to the upper level which I discovered other homestay units don't provide such facilities. The staff are most helpful and always there to provide assistance in particular when I need to clean my dirty laundry, the owner offered their assistance to help with laundry service and dry out hanging while we can go for our mountain outing at ease. Also, they took an initiative to prepare the necessary personal items like a walking stick and rain coat before you set off to the mountain trekking to save us from unnecessary spending of such expenses. Such a kind gesture is appreciated as the items may be a one time usage. Overall, our stay was extremely wonderful and satisfying which I personally recommend huanlin guesthouse and I will definitely reserve the same guesthouse should I will made a visit to Fanjinshan again.

Parking is available in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel has an elevator. The room is as pictured on the app; it's clean and spacious. The owner is friendly and provides excellent service.

Strategic location, 10 mins walk to East Gate entrance, 5 mins walk to the bustling area; clean & comfortable room, sufficient amenities for an overnight stay before heading to FJS; convenient as good selection of restaurants & sundry shops just around the corner.

Very beautiful room. Friendly hosts. The boss drove us to the park entrance and back. The food is very good. Calm, in the middle of a little village.

Great service frm staff. They serve hot ginger & red dates tea in the lobby for guests to fill into their thermal flask for the climb. Big and comfy rooms with nice balcony. Their toilet is quite big with heated floor. Decent breakfast. Just few minutes walk to the entrance of Fanjing Shan.

This trip made me feel very peaceful. It was really nice to walk around the mountains and relax. The hotel service attitude was very good, the room was large and quiet.

It was my first time staying at a smart hotel. The experience was very good. The hotel is in an easy-to-find location with convenient transportation and parking. The front desk service was very enthusiastic, professional and polite. It is very cost-effective and highly recommended.
