I was staying at MO Jakarta for quarantine repratriation 10 days in December 2021. At the beginning, I asked the staff via email to provide me bank details for bank transfer before I check-in but it was not provided until the day of check-in then I need to use my personal bank account. Food tasted very good and room was comfortable too. I think the letdown is laundry service that is not clear for pick-up time and one day staff forgot to pick my laundry but it’s okay caused I contacted the guest service. I’d also thank the staff who gave me mineral water in gallon and dispenser. It is such good innitiative and kind gesture. Overall, I am happy to stay at MO Jakarta for isolated 10 days without boredom and discomfort.

My last staycation in Shangri-la hotel Jakarta on 31 May 2023 was amazing. The dinner in satoo was delicious and the staff especially the waiter, Mr. Bayu so friendly and helpful. My most recent staycation was at the Shangri-la Hotel in Jakarta on May 31, 2023. The dinner at Satoo was great, and the waiter, particularly the waiter, Mr. Bayu, was extremely nice and helpful. Thanks for the service.

Stayed 2N in a 1BR (Rm # 2201) - the worse accommodation I've encountered in Jakarta where reputable hotel chains I've stayed before are always clean and pleasant. The stay looked unpromising upon getting the key cards in a very well used and yellowish looking jacket (ok, forgivable if is a sustainability effort in a post covid world and in a property where hygiene and decent upkeeping is obviously of lower priority perhaps?) Things started going downhill after I stepped out of the lift to be welcomed by the mouldy patch and peeling paint on the common corridor walls and ceilings. More to dislikes upon stepping into the room: - First impression is that it hasn't been in used for a while with blast from 80s decor - Strand of hairs on the sink top, bed, desks... everywhere in plain sight - Very used and dumpy looking sofa that doesn't felt too clean - Bedsheet isn't too clean with prominent old stain when you flip over the quilt - Old and dirty looking dryer with few packets of partially used washing powder - Yellowish looking switches with dirt and grime collecting around the corners - Standing shower isn't working as is leaking at the back with weak pressure - Balls of dust and peeling paint could be seen everywhere in the room - Wall and ceiling paints were peeling off here and there - Rain water could seep through the living room window causing the floor around the window to be wet - Final straw was the dirty and smelly fridge causing the lapis legit I bought from nearby Mandarin Oriental to reek of a terrible and unwholesome freezer stench Horrible, not recommended and a total rip off at S$250++ per night!

I spent 6 weeks in Hotel Liberty between March and April 2020, I am very happy to have been there and I strongly recommend it. I have been travelling the last 30 years and I can say that this is one of the very good places where I stayed. The location, the staff and the cleanliness are excellent. The rooms are big (I stayed in a 28 sqm room) and with very good natural and artificial light; the bathroom is good and very clean; the bed is very good; the closet is big enough for people travelling for long periods like me. Due to the COVID emergency I worked full time from my hotel room and it was very comfortable because the work table is big, the chair very comfortable and the WiFi works well. The quality/price ratio is also excellent. So, I have no doubt I would come back to Liberty Hotel. Thanks Pak Slamet, hotel manager, and thanks to all staff.

Location very good and easy access to services, food & beverages. Breakfast has a huge range of options both local, Asian and Western but would be nice with a basic self service coffee and juice bar also. Staff overall nice and helpful. Rooms are a bit worn and rather small given the price though seems most other options in the area are also very expensive.

This hotel is situated in the heart of the city center hence the traffic is extremely heavy and busy, going to places are can be extremely difficult and time consuming. The location isn't good at all. You need more time allowance to get to the airport consider the heavy traffic. There are slums everywhere, behind the hotel and dirty food stalls nearby. These slums should be removed from the vicinity. Beggars and homeless people are everywhere even outside McDonald's nearby. There are McDonald's, Burger King, Starbucks and indo Cafe nearby. Brsides, we are very disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Our bedsheets are stained with footsteps and dirty stains. Cockcroaches are all over the toilet seat, crawling all over my legs while we were seated. It's so gross. I hope this hotel can improve its cleanliness. See the photos and you can decide yourself whether it's gross or not.

Checking in was pretty smooth, you gotta deposit either 100.000 rupiahs or your personal ID/driving licence. The room size was alright, cleanliness was alright. I booked a Deluxe room for 3 nights. First of all, the property's location is amazing. Everything is within a walking distance. No need to rush to the airport train station because it is a 5-minute walk from the premises. Commuting is easy since the hotel is close to the MRT station. I even spent one afternoon jogging from the hotel to the HI roundabout. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants around the hotel. Now, let's talk about the room. My room was on the third floor. The room was quite spacious but had no view. It was not well-soundproof so I could hear people talking from the neighbouring rooms. The interior design was chic and trendy, and the bed was big, especially for one person. However, drinking glass, electronic safe, and fridge were not available en suite so I had to enjoy my beer warm. The bathroom was nicely decorated and had a rainshower, much to my delight. However, there wasn't any clear divider between the shower area and other bathroom areas, meaning that water overflew here and there. As for the service, I was quite disappointed upon realizing that on the second day, my room was not cleaned up and they did not provide two bottles of mineral water. I had to come down and asked the receptionist for them, which was inconvenient. Overall, the staying experience was okay. For a short stay, the hotel makes a nice place I would say.
