The Leela Palace Jaipur

Overall, I had a pleasant stay and the hotel itself is beautiful. The room was spacious and elegant, the property offers many activities, and the staff was genuinely attentive, professional, and always willing to help. I also felt very warmly welcomed throughout my stay. However, there were two aspects that significantly affected my experience. The first was the laundry service. Both times my clothes were returned with a very strong and unpleasant odor. The team kindly agreed to rewash them, and I appreciate their efforts, but the issue remained. In my opinion, this points to a problem with the laundry process itself rather than the staff handling the request. The second disappointment was the spa experience. Unfortunately, the signature massage was one of the weakest spa treatments I have experienced. It felt like a waste of both time and money and did not meet the standard I would expect from a hotel of this level. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel remains a beautiful destination with excellent staff and a lovely atmosphere.

It was a pleasant short stay. The staff is fantastic and facilities are luxurious. The food could be improved. Otherwise, great!

We absolutely loved our stay at Leela Palace Jaipur! The staff are so amazing. The grounds and mountains right next door are pretty and it's just a first-rate place to stay for sure! Beautiful place! Great quality of everything and great standards for Westerners. The other '5 star' hotels we stayed in in Jaipur weren't up to Western standards of 5 star in hygiene and other little things but the Leela Palace certainly is, and I'd rate it even more than a typical 5 star hotel in the Western world. This is more of a palace retreat, also, not just a hotel. We have excellent memories there and I'm still wearing my Leela slippers at home in Australia now hehe, because it reminds me of the beautiful time I had there and the beautiful staff who made things more than excellent for us and really made our stay amazing. Definitely recommend. I do have a tip - go in a 'Grand Villa'. The Palace suite (what it says I stayed in), is gorgeous but the villas are even better and not that much difference in price. We stayed 2 nights at Leela Palace Jaipur and experienced both room types. The photos online on the Leela website are accurate.  We ate at the buffet restaurant, Sukh Mahal. It was nice. The food was hygienic, fancy, and we didn't get sick at all (we did at another 5 star hotel).  It's a fair drive from the city of Jaipur, but I think you'll find that you actually love that. jaipur city area is so hectic and loud with horns and just a bit unpleasant to be in, if you're in culture shock. The Leela Palace is further out and is such a nice break from Jaipur city area. It's perfectly away in the mountain areas. The air is fresher and it's pretty with the mountains. I totally recommend. I also recommend taking the hotel's car, as they actually have seatbelts in all seats and air con and just fancy. We took an Uber to the Leela Palace and that was a huge mistake. Pay the extra for the hotel car! Most of the cars we were in in Jaipur had no seatbelt in the back middle seat, and two other cars didn't have seatbelts in the back at all. Just trust us. Just make sure they take you to the right airport. The driver was great but dropped us off at domestic terminal, which is 3km or so from the international one, and you have to take an Uber to get from each, so please make sure they understand which one (I thought it would be one airport).

Excellent to stay in this hotel.

If you get a chance to stay here- don’t miss it. The property itself is a haven and every little detail is thought of. The design and de oration is out of this world and a wonderful Rajasthan experience. What makes this hotel so special- is the staff. They are so well trained to make you feel comfortable. Nothing is too much to ask and they are so knowledgeable. They were amazing with children and the kids adored the kids club. We had a villa with a room and pool and it’s somewhere we didn’t want to leave! The main pool is just the perfect temperature and surrounded by palms and rajasthani style domes. You can even get bikes to cycle around the property. The breakfast buffet will blow your mind with choice and taste Honestly - my favourite hotel - time and time again - this hotel has never let me down.
