The staff, though foreign, spoke Japanese very well and were all so friendly and easy-going, which made our stay very comfortable and reassuring. ☺︎

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days as a family. We are a Japanese family. The price was reasonable, so we were somewhat prepared for some shortcomings, but personally, we were satisfied. [Good points] - The breakfast was delicious. The lineup was the same, but considering it was 1000 yen per meal, it was acceptable. Overall, the staff's service was good. - We were told it was a smoking room, but we didn't notice any smell. - The indoor bath was free of mold and dirt, and there were no problems. - We stayed in a Japanese-Western style room. There were two beds and a comfortable space to relax, and it felt more spacious than expected. - The evening stroll around the area was fantastic, with the area lit up. [Points of concern] - It was generally dark at night, and the corridor leading to the open-air bath was particularly dim and scary. - While it was good that they accommodated us at the last minute for the dinner buffet, considering the 3500 yen price, our satisfaction level was low. Overall, I was very satisfied with the reasonably priced plan. I also thoroughly enjoyed exploring the surrounding area both day and night. The people I met in the area made a very good impression. I would definitely like to visit the Shuzenji area again. Thank you very much.

The service and location are both good, the dinner and breakfast are plentiful, the rooms are large, and you can choose a private hot spring session (40 minutes) for free, which is great value for money.

This was my first time trying a Japanese bathhouse, and I loved it! We stayed in a larger room for four people; the adults slept on the beds, and the kids slept on the tatami mats. Dinner was amazing—a semi-buffet with crab legs, yakiniku (grilled pork), sukiyaki, and various kinds of sake. Then we happily soaked in the hot spring. We checked in on a Saturday and didn't meet a single other Chinese person; it was all local Japanese tourists. Highly recommended! Great value for money!

The location is a bit remote, about a ten-minute walk from the station, but this comes with a quiet environment. A private bath can be reserved for free at check-in. Complimentary afternoon snacks (oden) and late-night ramen are available. The surrounding scenery is beautiful. Very satisfied.

A very good hotel with a very high cost performance. I stay in this hotel every time I come to Shuzenji. There are three baths and hot springs. The room is also very large, with two single beds and tatami.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly. The facilities were excellent, the onsen (hot spring) was amazing, and the breakfast was great! 👍 Free ice cream and drinks were included. 😋 This is the hotel for my Izu trip! 🏨

The facilities were old and not very organized, and the corridors were very cold. I was really disappointed when I opened the window in my room and found spider webs and a huge spider. I was looking forward to the food, but the half buffet was a disappointment. It was nice that there was all-you-can-drink alcohol from check-in until the meal. The cave bath was also nice. I wasn't expecting much, but considering the price of the accommodation, I guess it can't be helped overall.

An average hot spring hotel, the hotel is relatively old. The first time I encountered it, I had to change into slippers as soon as I entered the hotel lobby, but I could drag my luggage upstairs. In addition to the large bath, there is also an open-air bath that is free and another that is charged. Reservations are required for both. There are some outdoor walkways leading to this open-air bath that are not well lit. I chose this bath and didn't have time to try the large bath. The hotel room is large and has enough space but the equipment is quite old. The shower in the room is not powerful enough, the heating is not enough, the inside of the refrigerator is a bit dirty, and the stains on the bottom of the shower curtain have not been replaced after long-term use. Overall cleanliness and hygiene should be improved. Overall I would not consider this hotel again.

The location is far from Shuzenji Onsen Street. It takes a quarter of an hour to walk with the luggage. Fortunately, the attractions to be seen are within this range. The hotel requires changing into slippers in the lobby, but you can still walk in with your luggage. I don't know how the floor can be kept clean. In addition, the hotel slippers are cold and slippery, and not convenient to wear. What's even more bizarre is that the hotel doesn't clean the rooms. They just put the towels, bath towels and bed sheets that need to be changed at the door for guests to do it themselves. This is the first time I've encountered such a hotel. Bad review. That is the level of a farm stay. The only good thing was that the dinner was great and rich, with a small hot pot and sea crab legs. The service staff seemed to be Indian, very warm and thoughtful. There was no service in the room or the hot spring house. There were no towels in the hot spring house, and the floor was covered with hair and lint, which was very dirty.

The service is very good. There is afternoon tea and supper in the lobby. If you don't order hotel meals, you can eat a little and still be full. It's just that the food is the same every day. There is a 711 quite far away. It is better to order meals at the hotel. If you don’t want to order meals at the hotel, you can buy them at 711. Because the hotel has a lot of ups and downs, it is quite difficult to go out. There is free table tennis to play, and there are vending machines and milk machines in the hotel. The milk in it is particularly delicious. I drank 3 bottles in one go. The hotel has public hot springs, which are indoors, and you can also choose to have outdoor hot springs only according to time.

The hot spring was nice, the rooms were large, it was a bit of a walk from the station, but it was great value for money.
