Ryukyu Hotel & Resort Nashiro Beach Reviews

Another trip to Japan! This time, before my whirlwind tour of Kansai, I took a vacation in Okinawa! I wanted to beat the summer rush and embrace the ocean. I booked a premium room at this popular hotel in advance, purely for the relaxation it offered. During peak season, a standard room here can go for over 3,000 yen a night, so it definitely lives up to its price! The hotel is about a dozen kilometers from Naha Airport and Kokusai Dori, which isn't too far. Its location is quiet and a bit secluded, but the environment is superb, and the facilities are very new! Check-in was a bit slow because the staff explained everything in such detail. On the bright side, the room was spacious, tidy, and clean. The bathroom amenities were plentiful, and the hair ties were super cute, though I forgot to snap a pic. Soaking in the tub with their bath salts was incredibly comfortable! The hotel's complimentary slippers and beach bag matched my bikini perfectly! I loved the whole look – too bad I got my period and couldn't go for a swim. The hotel service was also very thoughtful! Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied! During meals, staff would give each table a small card. After finishing your meal, you could flip the card over, which prevented the awkward situation of your table being cleared if you or your group went to get more food. Besides its own restaurant, the hotel has many other delicious dining options, but they require advance reservations! This time, I just wanted to relax and didn't visit other Okinawa attractions, so I didn't rent a car. Otherwise, parking at this hotel is also very convenient! Since we didn't request housekeeping during our stay, the hotel even gave us a 3,000 yen credit to spend at the gift shop downstairs upon check-out. Good times on vacation always fly by quickly. Every time I've come to Okinawa, it's rained, but luckily, on the last day, the sun came out, and I saw the jelly-like ocean! I'll definitely book this hotel again next time I come to Okinawa!

Booked three nights for two adults and two children on Trip.com in early May. This was our second trip to Okinawa after more than six years. Last time, we booked a semi-private tour with a chartered car through Trip.com, but this time, the kids are older, so we did a free-and-easy trip. This hotel is conveniently located from Naha Airport. The hotel pool is incredibly safe, almost completely blind-spot-free, with lifeguards stationed every few steps, constantly scanning the area. It's perfect for young children, and parents with older kids can feel comfortable leaving them. Most of the hotel staff are very friendly, always smiling and greeting guests. The breakfast is delicious and well-prepared. There are also two shops within the hotel; the one on the first floor basically has everything you need to eat and drink, plus some local specialties. The TK02 bus terminal right outside the hotel offers easy access to the outlet mall, Itoman Fish Market, and more. The beach has a lot of sand and shells, so walking barefoot might test your endurance, but there are quite a few hermit crabs. In summer, the pool and designated swimming area in the ocean close at 7 PM, but you can still play on the beach. Several paid water activities are also worth trying. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Wow, the sea here is incredibly blue! It's perfect for families, with all sorts of kids' pools, including slides and a lazy river. You can also get different kinds of swimming rings and buy all sorts of water balls.

Second stay this year, and there will definitely be a third! The photo ops are absolutely stunning, like something out of a fairytale. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious food, so you don't have to worry about finding meals and can just focus on enjoying your vacation.

My daughter really loved it! The hotel was clean, and the front desk service was absolutely fantastic. There were many attentive and responsible staff members at the pool. There's a bus available from the city center, and after check-out, you can take a paid shuttle directly to the airport. If you're not in a hurry, it's a great place to stay. There were quite a few Korean tourists, so it was a little noisy. The room had a beautiful view, and I imagine staying on a weekday when it's less crowded would be even better.

Amazing resort! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel looks like a paradise, there are a lot of floors and trees. The swimming pool are wonderful. There is supermarket inside the hotel where you can buy everything, prices just a bit higher than in 7eleven. However, you need to take into account that hotel is located near a small village, so you need to take a buy to go to nearest town for big supermarket and restaurants. However the bus goes every 30 minutes, so it is not a big problem. There is also a direct shuttle to the airport.

The hotel is newly opened and offers a nice view of the sunset, but it was incredibly windy. The weather was a bit chilly for this season. I saw some foreigners, but personally, I don't think it's suitable for swimming. The surroundings are all farmland, quite far from the city. It takes about 15 minutes by taxi to get to a supermarket. Communication with the Japanese staff can be difficult due to their English proficiency; it's best to use a translator. Overall, it's a pretty standard, no-frills hotel.

I was quite satisfied with everything at the hotel, from the food to the accommodations and activities. It was a very enjoyable vacation experience 😊

The hotel is quite new, and the rooms are spacious with ocean views. Breakfast offers a good variety. However, the beach has a lot of coral fragments that can hurt your feet. The pool is nice. It gets a bit noisy from airplanes around 7 or 8 AM. Parking is 1500 a day which is a bit steep, and there are no restaurants or anything else nearby.

Good hotel overall and clearly very new, but not quite at a 5-star level yet. The rooms and facilities are modern and well maintained, but there are some noticeable gaps — no room service and no bar by the pool, which feels like a miss for a resort of this category. At check-in, I had to wait until around 15:30, which suggests the hotel may be understaffed. The beach/sea is just okay, nothing special. On the positive side, the promotional video is excellent and sets high expectations. 全体的に良いホテルで、施設も新しく綺麗ですが、現時点では5つ星ホテルとしては少し物足りない印象です。客室や設備はモダンで快適ですが、ルームサービスがない点やプールサイドにバーがない点は、リゾートホテルとしてはやや残念に感じました。 また、人手不足なのか、チェックイン時に15時半頃まで待たされました。 ビーチや海は可もなく不可もなく、特別良いとは言えません。 一方で、プロモーション動画は非常によくできており、期待感を高めてくれます。

The hotel is right by the beach with beautiful scenery. The rooms are clean and tidy, and there are plenty of entertainment facilities like various pools and water activities. The breakfast was also delicious. I'll definitely come back again!

The room was clean and comfortable. It would be even better if they provided mosquito coils or insect repellent, as sometimes when we opened the window for a bit, quite a few small bugs would fly in. My friend got several mosquito bites...

I like the staff they are kind and also the pool

It is an absolutely beautiful location with private beach access and several pools. Most staff were kind and friendly. The food was delicious and provided many options for vegetarians. We will definitely go back to this resort again in the future. The only two complaints is that the pools close too early and the maid service doesn't arrive to clean rooms until around 17:00, which is the same time guests come back to their rooms to get ready for dinner after a long day outside. I have done a lot of traveling and maid service almost always comes between 11:00-14:00. So it seemed weird that we left our hotel room at 10:00 and returned at 17:00 to a still messy room.
