I stayed in Istanbul for three nights, and two of them were at this hotel. So, the popular buzz on Xiaohongshu must be for a good reason. First off, the service was excellent. We arrived at the hotel a little after 11 AM, and the front desk clerk immediately checked us in. Keep in mind that normal check-in time is 2 PM, and on top of that, he upgraded our room type. The hotel's location is truly superb, absolutely fantastic. Besides the often-mentioned trash can downstairs, I honestly can't find anything to complain about regarding this hotel. The breakfast was also, among the hotels I stayed in during my 10-day trip to Turkey, one of the best at catering to the dining habits of people from different countries.
The most crucial thing is the price; for around 400 RMB a night, what more could you possibly fault? It's genuinely flawless.
Great location. Friendly staff. A good breakfast. Very clean.
Only drawback was when trying to arrange a hotel transfer to the airport. There was a bit of dishonesty from one of the reception staff about the price who tried to take a bit more than was the going rate was. We were originally quoted €50 for a minibus from one member of staff - when we came back another member said it would be €60 - when we told him we were quoted before he backtracked saying that he forgot to add the discount. Was obvious that he was trying to take the difference for himself which really was a stain on what was otherwise a really pleasant stay. I would definitely come back again despite this.
The hotel is in a lively, bustling area surrounded by shops, cafés, and restaurants — busy at all hours. It’s within walking distance to major landmarks like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, though keep in mind it’s uphill. There’s also a tram station just a 4-minute walk away, making it super easy to get around the city.
Breakfast was simple but decent — your typical Turkish spread served on the rooftop with a nice view.
What really made our stay exceptional was the staff. The reception team — day and night — were absolute legends. Abdul, the manager, went above and beyond for us every single day. He helped us with directions, organized taxis, and even made sure we weren’t overcharged when we first arrived. He booked our airport transfer for a price much lower than what other agents were quoting.
At one point, my wife accidentally damaged a blanket with the iron. When we told him, he simply smiled and said, “Don’t worry about it.” On our last day, he personally came to see us off, which really meant a lot.
We stayed for a week and loved every bit of it — mostly thanks to Abdul’s incredible hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back.

The hosts responded quickly to all requests. For the price, it was top-notch. Everything is close, but the downside of being close to attractions is that you're right in the middle of a busy traffic zone, so it's quite noisy until late at night. It didn't bother me, as I spent most of my days walking, but even in the mornings, when I was in my room sleeping, it didn't bother me. I'm okay with noise. As expected for the low price, the breakfast was very meager; I ordered an extra 150 lira for scrambled eggs and fried sausage. There were windows, air conditioning, soap, shower gel, and hot water. The room was spacious. There was a safe, but it required a physical key, and towels were provided. Bottom line: great value for the money.
The room was excellent, clean and hygienic, with a small rooftop terrace offering a glimpse of the sea. The hotel's location is super convenient; right outside is the Istanbul University station for the T1 tram line. It's only about a 15-minute ride to Hagia Sophia, and just a few more stops to the European side ferry terminals, which is very handy. The breakfast at the hotel was outstanding, with a wide variety of choices. The bread was freshly baked in a small oven right there, and they even had an entire honeycomb to enjoy – incredibly generous! The hotel service was also top-notch. We arrived on an early morning flight, and the kind lady at the front desk enthusiastically helped us check in early. We were able to have a refreshing shower and seamlessly start our day of sightseeing. Highly recommended!
I stayed for one night. The room itself was beautiful.
As a matter of concern, I was about to be guided to another hotel at check-in.
After calling somewhere, I ended up not moving to another hotel.
The word of mouth of other hotels stated that they were moved to a dirty hotel, so maybe it was the same situation.
Very comfortable stay!
The room was clean and had everything we needed. Unexpectedly, I was impressed by the kitchen.
There was an electric kettle and we enjoyed coffee and tea. There was also a microwave, so it was easy to heat up a meal in the evening. The bedding was soft and comfortable.
And most importantly, the showers were nice! The showers in this hotel are the warmest in Turkey.
The owners are very caring and easy to contact if you need anything.
The Grand Bazaar is close by and was a fun place to shop. There is also a supermarket nearby.
I wish I could have stayed in this hotel more often. I would use this hotel again! Thank you very much.
Friends working in a very central location were very interested and friendly, we were happy to leave the only problem we had was the noise of the expense pipe in the room we left and the wearing nails of the guests before us were the staff who worked for breakfast, no matter where. I recommend I go again
A very small hotel in the center of the old city, two steps from the Basilica Cistern. All the sights are within walking distance - very convenient. The only downside is that the hotel is located high on the mountain 😂 it was hard for non-athletic people to climb up on foot 😂
The staff is very polite - there were no problems with the service. The room is very small, but it has everything you need, even a micro-balcony for those who need to smoke
Helpful & friendly receptionist. The room & bathroom are quite big! And my room has a balcony facing the sea too! Breakfast was ok. Ordered in room dining, chicken chop with rice, big portion & tasty! The hotel is located 7min walking distance to sultanahmet mosque, hagia sophia & also grand Bazaar. Lots of eateries nearby. The hotel is considered big compared to others in the sultanahmet area. Overall, I'm satisfied with my stay. Will be back for sure!

Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel was new and very clean. The rooms were so and large enough. The staff were concerned. The breakfast was very above the average. Only the hotel around and the place where it was found was a little over.
GGuest UserRich breakfast, comfortable environment, 7th floor terrace can see the sunrise and sunset view, worth going back to stay again, there are 2 cats very enthusiastic, gentle, important part, can take pictures with them
GGuest UserThere is a big park right next door, there are many cheap restaurants, marts, fruit shops, and close to metro and tram.
Hotel bedding is clean.
It was a pity that there was no refrigerator.
There was noise around, so I couldn't open the door.
Generally satisfied.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location. The rooms are small and exquisite, relatively new, and the facilities are very new. It is very clean and comfortable. There is also a small balcony on the fourth floor, which is also very comfortable and clean.
The highlight is the breakfast, which is very rich, and the service staff is very exquisite. The hygiene level is very good, and the food is cleaned up immediately after eating.
The overall evaluation of this hotel is very good, and it is highly recommended.
AAnonymous UserWe enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room that we got was clean, comfortable and spacious for two person. Bathroom was clean though can be improved, hot and cold shower was working well with excellent water pressure.
They provided daily housekeeping which we really appreciate and and they also have lift to make life easier. Iron was also provided upon request.
Location is great, close to eateries, coffee shop, laundry and take 15-20 minutes walking to Blue Mosque (and will need you to go through the Arasta Bazar which is good if you feel like shopping or just window-shopping!) But beware the hotel is located at hilly street so you might want to consider if you're bringing big luggages and you're taking the public transport. Nearest tramvay station is Beyazit, which is around 10-15 minutes walk and you'll pass by shops, eateries, and lines of shoe-selling/manufacturing shops (I find this particularly interesting). Just to add, one of the Grand Bazar entrance is also close to Beyazit tramvay.
To Lika Hotel, keep up the excellent service, hope to stay here again next time!
Also will be good if you could provide free tea bags/bottled water in the room, if it's not too much to ask 😁
GGuest UserThe hotel is located near the tram stop of Chamberlitash (7 min in a small pot), 10 min walking to the Sultanahmet Square and the mosques. The Grand Bazaar is also nearby. 35 min walking to Galata. There are many cafes nearby on this street and streets where you can eat.
The rooms are small and slightly tired. The hotel staff helps in all matters, breakfast is provided: eggs in different kinds, naggets, fries, cut cheese/colbace/ vegetables, mushrooms, olive, sit, jam.
For walks around the city hotel standards, we came only to wash and sleep) For such a travel format I recommend
GGuest UserIts a walking distance to grand baazar and metro station, a few shop for us to buy food and drink. Its just a toilet sink leaking. Staff are all friendly. They have hairdryer in room.
BBert Van Der SprongIt is a not too big hotel 10 min walk to the old town.
Despite the building being old and authentic.
Friendly and helpful employees.
Good beds which we find very important.
And a great breakfast that will give you enough energy to explore Istanbul.
The price and quality ratio is excellent.
Keep it up....
AAlexClean and family friendly small hotel near the Grand Bazaar. Within walking distance there are many national restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops. Very friendly and courteous staff. We are ready to give good advice. I recommend to all.
