**** BED HUG ALERT!!! **** I recently stayed at Armada Hotel and unfortunately had a mixed experience. I want to start with the positive side: the staff and service were good, and they kindly managed to check us in earlier than expected, which we appreciated after traveling. However, our stay became increasingly disappointing because of several issues with the rooms. The first room did not appear clean, and we only realized the next day that the bedsheets were dirty and even had blood stains on them, which was very unpleasant and unacceptable. We also experienced a problem with the sink, as the water was draining very slowly. The hotel staff tried to help but were unable to fix the issue, so we were moved to another room. Unfortunately, the second room created an even bigger problem. We later discovered what appeared to be bed bugs. After returning from our trip, we developed bites all over our bodies and are still dealing with the effects and recovery, which significantly impacted our overall experience. While I appreciate the staff’s efforts and good customer service, the cleanliness and room conditions were far below expectations. I hope the hotel takes these issues seriously and improves its standards to prevent other guests from having a similar experience.

Great value for money! It's surrounded by all the famous attractions, and you can walk to them in about 20 minutes. If you're coming, definitely stay for a few days. We're here for three weeks this time. The breakfast selection is fantastic – you can have Chinese-style dishes or eat your fill of bread. Taxis are easy to catch, and the beach is just a few dozen meters away. You can walk all the way to the pier from there. The cats are adorable! I'll definitely stay here again next time. Thank you! The owners were wonderful. They allowed us an early check-in for our first morning and even gave us complimentary breakfast (which we sadly missed on our last day due to a flight). Their service is absolutely amazing! Housekeeping was very prompt, and the cleaning lady was very friendly. They are very friendly towards Chinese guests, which is a big plus. It's so much fun to feed the seagulls and other birds while having breakfast on the rooftop.

Stayed at this hotel on my first day in Istanbul, and after exploring the city, I booked it again! The location, ambiance, service, and breakfast are all incredibly good value for money. It'll definitely be my top choice next time I visit Turkey.

We stayed here for 2 nights and honestly, loved the vibe. We checked in late because of some stuff that came up, but the staff were super chill they even gave us welcome drinks 🍷 which I totally didn’t expect. Check-in was fast, no issues at all. The room was a bit small but honestly cozy, clean, and comfy enough. Then early in the morning a random cat 🐈 popped by our window 🪟 like “hi,” and it instantly made my morning. Amenities? Pretty complete everything you basically need is already in the room. The bed 🛏️ was comfy too. Breakfast 🥞 was the real winner though super delicious and everything just hit the right flavors. 5/5 🤩, no debate. The view was beautiful and really relaxing. Rooftop just needs a tiny bit of improvement, but overall the stay was great. Totally enjoyed it and would stay again.

The hotel is quite old and tucked away in an alley. The service, however, is excellent. As soon as we got out of the car, the bellhop immediately took our luggage, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. The only downsides are that the room facilities are a bit dated and the cleanliness wasn't as perfect as I'd hoped.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The views are incredible; you can capture the mosque and the cathedral right from your balcony. Plus, it's just a short walk to the beach. The scenery is stunning. Breakfast was good too, and the service was very welcoming.

They are so friendly and the place is gorgeous

This is an older hotel, but the staff are very down-to-earth and it's quite clean. The location is good, and breakfast is typical local fare, very simple. If you don't have high expectations, it offers decent value for money.

A perfect location and perfect service. The rooms, the corridors—everywhere is spotless. If I ever return to Istanbul, this will be my first choice.

Great location, just a short walk to Hagia Sophia and other attractions. Breakfast was tasty, with a nice view of the Marmara Sea, Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sophia rooftops. Service, however, needs improvement. When we arrived around 10 AM with large suitcases, staff did not offer to help. Early check-in wasn’t available (understandable if full), but luggage storage had no tags, which felt insecure. We only got our room after asking several times—WhatsApp notification like some hotels use would have been more convenient. The room was clean, sheets comfortable, and AC worked well, but the TV remote didn’t function. Amenities were basic and no toothbrush/toothpaste was provided. Overall, an okay stay with great location and decent breakfast, but service quality could be better.

Excellent hotel! The environment is great, and the staff are wonderful. It's super convenient for getting around, with the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Old City practically on your doorstep. The Bosphorus Strait is just a minute's walk away, making public transport and boat trips incredibly easy to access.

The hotel is in the old town, right by the sea, and within walking distance to all the attractions. The transportation is super convenient. The staff are warm and friendly, truly excellent! 👍

The location and facilities are great, but the breakfast is really mediocre. You might want to consider eating out instead, as there are plenty of cafes nearby that serve breakfast.
