Almina Inn Hotel

Location is great right in the old town and close to all the sights all in walking distance, Grand Bizarre, Hagia Sofia etc and 400 m to the great tram route, (just up a little hill). Rooms very clean, shampoo & soaps supplied & even slippers. Good shower. Good aircon. Breakfast ok, very Turkish, not much for westerners, lots of salads offered, but good coffee machine. Staff very nice and friendly . Be careful don’t confuse it with a sister hotel - Almina Hotel - about 10 mins away by taxi and we got taken there first in error.

The hotel was quite nice for its price. The room is clean, very comfortable beds, no problem with the bathroom everything works well. As we lived on the 4th floor the internet connection wasn’t good. The staff at the hotel is really friendly and the location of the hotel is good, pretty close to all the main sightseeing. We enjoyed our stay at Almina Inn Hotel!

Good location and close to the Grand Bazar. Near T1 Tram which takes you to the main attractions. The room was good size but our "view" was towards the restaurant where breakfast is served. You get a natural alarm at around 7am in preparation for a breakfast at 8am. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good (not amazing). Be aware that you need to walk 4-5 mins uphill, so get ready for a steep climb.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 Wonderful days. The hotel from staff such as Keyra ,Sehmus and the staff in the breakfast were simply excellent breakfast in the morning I always look forward to simply out of this world. The bedroom was decent enough and offered a lovely ambience. A bit of noise during call to prayer but hey this is Istanbul a city that never sleeps. Great city and great people.

Extremely reasonable price great location and very helpful employees! Comfortable stay next to grand bazaar, 10 minute walk to the mosques and historic centre. Rooms and showers are clean, totally happy with my stay.

My recent stay at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. To begin with, the rooms were incredibly tiny, and to make matters worse, the air conditioning was malfunctioning and leaking. It was evident that the available reviews were far from genuine, as we were coerced by a hotel staff member named Zafar into writing positive reviews on the very first day of our arrival. Speaking of Zafar, the receptionist in the morning shift, he proved to be nothing short of a fraud. Not only did he provide us with misleading information about the city, but he also attempted to intimidate us with false details and solicited commissions on a hamam reservation we had already booked. His modus operandi involved initially speaking with utmost politeness, exchanging mobile numbers, only to later manipulate our itinerary for his personal gain. Our ordeal didn't end there. On our last day, when we sought assistance from Zafar in translating for our cab driver, he attempted to cancel our existing arrangements and coerce us into hiring a local cab from his reference. It is imperative to steer clear of this hotel, and especially the person named Zafar, who made our stay nothing short of a distressing experience.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. We accidentally booked the wrong dates for our reservation and arrived early, but the staff was incredibly helpful in accommodating us. The hotel was immaculate and well-maintained, and the friendly staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The location was convenient, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Almina inn has very friendly and helpfull staff. Breakfast is limited and actually a bit boring if u stay more than 2 weeks like us. The restaurant could use a renovation and a decent airco. 2 person bed too small for 2 adults. Room interior is old. Nice hotel for a city trip but not for a holliday with the kids

Reasonable budget hotel 15 min walk from blue mosque. Staff were fantastic special mention to Siyed and Kayram who were really helpful and spoke good English. Istanbul is not flat so the walk to blue mosque is across very steep roads and having to watch the traffic flying past at the Same time. Hotel was clean and breakfast was good. My only criticism would be the safes in the rooms are not fixed down and can be lifted out the room. We had 2 rooms and it was the same in both rooms. Also the towels although cleaned did have staining but it looks like the linen cleaning is outsourced and not done by the hotel. Other than that I would use again as it was good value and we only ever used the rooms to sleep in as we were out sight seeing every day and only returned late at night.
