THIS IS A TRUE EXPERIENCE! 千万避雷My friend and I booked this hotel on April 15th and arrived to check in at 2:00 PM. Despite my Visa card already showing a payment notification, the staff refused our check-in, claiming the payment "didn’t go through" because they hadn’t received the money. The front desk could barely speak English, so they called a colleague who insisted with 100% certainty that the payment failed.
After being turned away, we had no choice but to book another hotel. However, by 7:00 PM, I received another charge notification—proving the payment did process initially! The hotel then contacted me, offering to let us check in, but it was too late—we’d already settled elsewhere.
When I requested a refund for their unacceptable mistake, the staff refused rudely and showed zero accountability. This was the worst experience I’ve had in Turkey! I condemn such unprofessional behavior—poor communication, incompetence with payments, and terrible customer service. Do not stay here unless you want stress and financial risk!
