Hotel Torun Istanbul Old City Reviews

I stayed at the hotel from May 5th to 7th, 2026. I really enjoyed everything. One of the receptionists spoke good Russian. The room was clean, the linen was very high quality, and I especially liked the soap (pleasant scent and it didn't get mushy). Slippers and towels were provided. Thank you. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I had the chance. The location is superb, with the metro and bus stops nearby, and many cafes offering delicious food. Thank you! The location and environment are both good, and it's relatively quiet at night, but the facilities are a bit old; there isn't even a table.

It's a little far from the main tourist attractions, about a 20-minute tram ride away, but it's conveniently located about 5 minutes from the nearest station. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The reception staff are friendly. It uses a card key system for security, and amenities include slippers, towels, bath towels, and soap. The shower and toilet are clean, and there's a TV and refrigerator. The balcony door was a little loose, but not a major problem. Non-Muslims might find the prayer chimes at night or early in the morning bothersome.

We stayed at the same hotel before. The hotel is reasonable and affordable, but the previous time we stayed there was an open buffet for breakfast, now there are only a few olives, some cheese, etc. on a plate. Don't expect anything in terms of breakfast.

The room was very close to the light rail, MRT station, and bus stop, and the price was very reasonable. Everything seemed normal upon check-in and in the room, but I ended up in a smoking room, which was a slight drawback.

I have wonderful memories of my stay at this hotel. I booked the cheapest room, and it was cozy and very, very clean. Everything in the room was new, and there was plenty of everything. I'm grateful to everyone—both those who prepared the room and those who worked at reception. I really want to stay here again.

The location is quite good. It's adequate for those traveling alone. If I had to give feedback, it would be better if disposable shampoos were included. Otherwise, it's sufficient for two nights.

Excellent value for money!

It was conveniently located near the station and shopping district. The front desk staff were very helpful. There was a park in front of the hotel, and the view was great. The subway, tram, and bus stops were all about a 5-minute walk away, so it was easy to get around. The price was reasonable, and the breakfast was delicious.

The room is small, but it is enough for a night's rest and is acceptable for one person.

I recently stayed at this hotel and while the customer service was genuinely good, I unfortunately cannot say the same about the overall experience. The staff were polite, helpful, and did their best to assist throughout my stay — which I truly appreciated. However, I was quite disappointed with other aspects, particularly the breakfast, which was well below expectations in terms of both quality and variety. It felt like an afterthought rather than a part of the hospitality experience. Although the service was a positive point, I personally would not choose to stay here again, nor would I recommend it to others. There are other options available that provide a better balance between service and overall experience.
