The hotel's location is ideal, within walking distance of the Old Town's main attractions. The tram and metro stops are literally 50 meters away, or even less. Since I was traveling solo, I didn't need much and wasn't expecting a 5-star Hilton experience. The room suited me perfectly; it was small, but I didn't need a lot, especially since I only needed a place to sleep. It was clean, housekeeping was good, and nothing was broken. The front desk staff were always polite, answered my questions, and were helpful.

The booking was doubted by the reception and I had to show receipts numerous times. Additionally no soup was provided by the hotel and it was somewhat unclean. However, the location was very convenient.

Like probably most of the hotels around the area...the overall ambience is vintage and quaint. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and up to date bathroom amenities is perfect. Truly affordable rates and the free breakfast spread is perfect. Really, with comfortable walking shoes, MOST of the MUST DO sites are no more than 15 minutes away from Hotel Ipek Palas. Most do not speak English, but your translator app is extremely useful. Also GPS app works fairly well. This being my first trip, I highly recommend it. Maybe I'll be meeting you there too. LIKE MACARTHUR SAYS...I SHALL RETURN.

Great location

All is good except that the aircon is not working right for both rooms I booked. The staff are so friendly and very helpful though communication wise,some of the staff member has poor English or none at all. Over all my our stay in the hotel was enjoyable. Thanks Guys!!

Toilet is small and the furniture is quite old

The hotel is quiet good, location is fantastic.. Good breakfast but some facilities are not working fine like the Air-conditioning or the fridge but over all it's okay.

Overall, the hotel is not bad. There were some small issues when checking in, but the administrator quickly resolved everything - this is a separate plus. The hotel is already a bit "tired": curtains are torn somewhere, there is trash. However, the location is good - there is a tram nearby, but it does not interfere with sleep, which was a pleasant surprise. The room is spacious, with an authentic interior, which adds to the atmosphere. The bathroom, on the contrary, is very compact, and the mirror is installed too low - inconveniently, only my own videos *****))) Breakfasts are a weak point. No meat, more like a light snack. 3+ maximum. In addition, they are held in a basement, which you still need to manage to find - a real quest in the morning. If you close your eyes to the little things - the option is normal, but with a caveat.

The hotel is located near major attractions, making them easy to visit. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby to suit every taste.

The location is very convenient, right in the city center, with many restaurants around. You can walk to the Istanbul Strait and the ferry terminal to take the ferry. The room is relatively small
