Abbasi Hotel Isfahan

The hotel its uniq & pretty with full of iranian tradition & ethnicity, But the service & the staff need to be incourage & upgrading. 1. Passport need to be left at reseption for Guarantee your stay. For someone who travel arround the world , Ive never seen in this world there is a hotel who insists to “hostage as collateral” your Passport! the staff reseption hotel said that its their regulations that they have keep the passport until you check out! If they want gyarantee, or my data, the could just copy or scan it & if they want a collateral or guarantee, they can just ask for some amounts as Deposit Money! that should be fine, & make sense, but keep d passport? Come on, this is nonsense regulation. Even the staff difficult to explain to me what kind of the regulations that they have, In this situation, im insist not to gv my passport with them. as Forign who entering this country for traveling this is not exceptable, Maybe for local tourist or citizen, leaving their ID at d reseption is common thing, but for forign / touris, passport its not a jokes that i can easily give with stranger at d reseption of the hotel. you need to modified & updating your regulation like other 4* or even 2* hotel. Soo at the end they allowed me not to put passport as a guarantee of the room. 2. Lack of work ethic. The employee giggles & making a jokes each other infront of the guest. After a very long arguments, finally they gv us the room, the card key & our luggage to concierge guy, Instead of taking care the bag, Both of them are talking, giggling as if im not there, waiting for them! I was waiting for a few minute for them until i have to stop their giggles with a very strong gesture! sunch not professionale employees doing all this gesture infront of their guests & its During their working hours! Im sure they r not pay for gossiping! 3. Careless with visitor Convenience. I was having buffet breakfast in d restaurant hotel. since its high season, breakfast was packed & yah its was a very busy morning, I choose a table in d middle of the room, I hang my coat on my chair & 15 mnt after while we are in d middle of eating, the cleaning service with a huge of trolley full of trash waisted food from other costumer , they just pass away through my cair (without paying attention to the guest who are in d middle of eating,& it caused the trolley hit my chair & my coat get smashed !! thanks to them that morning my coat smell like garbage. It’s too Pitty because the hotel actually very pretty with the blossoms flowers But the staff , their hospitality is soo low . 4. Last but not least , they gv us room in front of the corridors & the room is not soundproof, Having a noisy neighbor plodding his feet & talking at the d corridor infront of the room such a dissapointed experience. To returning stay at d hotel, maybe we better try another option, But to return in d city, abseloouty YES ! The city is Full of historic &

Excellent Quality service, Location just short walk distance to 4 major site of beautiful Esfahan offer Super friendly and helpful hotel staff, from beginning we check in, until we check out all the box are ticks. Highly recommend this property for Iran experience in our short stay, it was remarkable. If I may give only suggestion was to add selection of vegetarian dishes to the menu. Definitely we recommend this property to our family and friends. Everywhere in Iran to our experiences people are super nice and helpful. Mr Hasan our transport driver from Esfahan to Shiraz was very polite, passion mature man. Try as much as he knows to explain everything each sites we pass through on the way to Shiraz. All the best keep a great work Thank You for everything Achmad Abdullah Sydney Australia

Viana Hotel Isfahan
4.9/52 Reviews
Very good hotel, the staff are very amiable, the English is very fluent, the communication is completely ok, the boss is more hospitable, basically will meet your needs:); although some distance from the square and the attractions, but it is indeed avoided It is too noisy and quiet; the room is not very large, but the furniture and layout are very reasonable, not seemingly cramped, hot water is sufficient, WIFI is also good; convenient transportation, the hotel entrance is the bus to Imam Square, a few stops At the same time, you can also ask the hotel front desk to help you call the car, about 70,000-80,000 riyals; there are many convenience stores and shopping places on the street where the hotel is located, but the hotel is not very special, it takes about 800 meters to go; breakfast is simple But I am sure I can have enough to have coffee, milk and juice, eggs and vegetables and bread, etc. It is the best memories of staying in Isfahan's Old Town!
Traditional Hotel Isfahan

Absolutely recommend to a foreigner. Spent 4 days. The location is next to bazaar and central, what stood out for me was that the reception staff was so helpful in organizing taxi, helping with bus booking, printouts etc.. most speak english which helped with conversation. I walked to majority of attractions except the church, metro is walkable distance as well if you so desire. The room was basic with all key amenities, hot water and on ground level with courtyard view. In room tv with one sports channel with european football helped kill some time indoors. Being next to courtyard expect noise till late night from others socialising as the doors windows arent noise proof. There is a cafe onsite with good food n drinks. Few suggestions for hotel: Put blind curtains in rooms with glass windows so that the light doesn't impact sleep at night Also the cleaning staff shouldn't demand tips at checkout, its considered rude when most westerners will leave some tip nonetheless at the end even if they didn't require any services from cleaning staff. Otherwise very good stay.

This hotel is close to the world’s oldest hotel in the world (Hotel Abbasi). I think my room is too small and doesnt have enough space to move around. Breakfast has limited options and only 1 staff knows how to speak english. However I would still recommend this place if you want close to tourist spot and looking for a budget place.

Good attitude of the staff. Covered and open parking for cars. Good service. The breakfast buffet was very complete and varied and delicious. The Elephant Cafe inside the hotel had a complete and good menu, and Shab Coffee had room service. The traditional restaurant inside the hotel has delicious food. View The hotel room was 33 bridges. The rooms were soundproof. It was easy to access everywhere from the hotel. The reception was good and fast.
