Hotel Areaone Ise Inter

The hotel is a bit dated, and the room was quite spacious, but the bathroom was old. The cleanliness was acceptable, but could be improved. The soundproofing in the room wasn't great; there was some noise even when it was quiet. The large parking lot was very convenient for self-driving. The staff provided excellent service, and the price was reasonable. Overall, I was satisfied. 🙂

The staff are incredibly kind and everyone is warm and makes for a very pleasant stay! However, there's a cemetery right in front of and next to the hotel, which is a bit creepy. I could hear a lot of noise leaking in and the sounds of other guests' lives. I couldn't sleep at all. The facility itself is old, so it feels a bit dirty and dusty. But they provide a humidifier, microwave, air purifier, and you can borrow a different type of pillow than the one provided, making it a very thoughtful hotel.

The hotel is very close to JR Isuzuoka Station and the bus stop, making it convenient to catch the bus as long as you check the schedule. The breakfast was excellent, satisfying both Japanese and Western options. The hotel provided a wide range of amenities for convenience. During my two-night stay, I visited the Ise Grand Shrine's inner and outer shrines, the Ise Ninja Park, and the Futami Kogyoku Shrine's Momo-iwa (couple's rocks), thoroughly enjoying my visit. The hotel beds would be even better if they were 10-20 centimeters wider (it was too cramped for two people to turn over).

I was woken up a little after 2 a.m. by a sudden loud noise in my room.

The website said breakfast was 600 yen, but when I checked in I was told it was 1200 yen. I ended up eating outside. Also, the large communal bath was under construction, but there was no information about it on the website.

It was a bit disappointing that there was no elevator on the 7th floor, but the staff came over and helped move my luggage, so it was fine. Other than that, the facilities were very good.

The hotel is located near the expressway, but there is not much traffic noise. The front desk clerk is polite and tries his best to communicate in English. The breakfast is great value for money and I think it is delicious. The downside is that you have to walk up the stairs to the front desk entrance and exit.
