Airport Inn and Suites Reviews

We booked this hotel for one night, and it was only a 5-7 minute taxi ride from the airport. The rooms are quite spacious, and the bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub. I would have liked more electrical outlets. A hairdryer can be requested at reception. There's some crockery available, but we couldn't use the frying pan as it was in poor condition. You can also order food from a menu at the hotel. There's a Spar supermarket about 1 km away, and a McDonald's nearby (though the staff strongly advised taking a taxi to the store as the area isn't very safe). The hotel grounds themselves are very well-secured.

The place is great, has AC, restaurant and bar on premises and its super close to the airport.

Airport Inn provides basic accommodation. It is slightly run down, but it is clean and the room we were in had all required amenities. Food is reasonably priced. For an overnight stay close to the airport, it is perfectly adequate.

If your looking for a good overnight stay before your flight this is the place to be 👍🏾

Pros: First of all the service I got from the receptionist was really good, she had someone carry my bags to the room and the location of the hotel is close to the airport which is very convenient for traveling after your stay. Cons: The room had a strong smell of paint, it was so bad I couldn't even breathe as all the windows were closed upon my arrival. The pillow cases in the bedroom didn't look clean to me I used my clothes to lay my face on because it was just nasty. The shower is not convenient to use, it's too small and you cannot move the shower head to a desired position. There was no fan or airconditioner in the bedroom, it was really hot. The furniture is outdated, some couches with holes in them it's a mess Overall, I will not sleep here ever again! The money charged is clearly just for being close to the airport because it is too much for that room.

Second time around, so nothing more to add within 2 weeks.. Lol. Clean, comfortable. The curtains could be block our though.

It’s okay. No water for one night but ok for the price and near the airport.

Lovely Place. About 20 minutes or less away from the city centre. The stuff was friendly and very helpful. The room was tired and clean. Little noise from the outside because of the highway. But not a bother at all. Definitely coming back the next time I visit South Africa. Side note. If you are travelling from abroad you might want to have an extension cord or adapter to fit the sockets for your devices. As the ones in South Africa are different from most parts of the world.
