This has to be one of the most charming hotels I have ever been to, and I have been to many all over the world. Hotel Kamares is a small boutique hotel and spa. We stayed in a suite which was so special, and cozy. It’s well appointed, clean, and charming with a Greek ethnic feel. There are no elevators to go upstairs to the rooms so if you can’t take steps this is not the hotel for you. That being said, the breakfast area is beautiful and quaint and has amazing coffee and a nice choice for breakfast. I had two wonderful massages while I was there, and the prices couldn’t be beat. I recommend the exfoliating salt and sugar massage. As far as the staff, they couldn’t be nicer. All of them were so wonderful, and all the little extra touches were so appreciated. Always giving us water and snacks for our day trips. When we return to Ioannina, I will look no further for a hotel. We will definitely stay in the Hotel Kamares again. For those who want to stay in town walking distance to the lake and many restaurants it’s the place to stay.

Very nice and clean rooms, the breakfast is delicious, fresh orange juice, coffee, in fact everything was very tasteful. Thasos, Elena and Magda are very welcoming hosts and helped us with very good recommendation. Private parking is available in the proximity with discount price for the hotel customers. The hotel is stylish, in a great location as it’s easy to walk to restaurants, sites, etc. We stayed 2 nights and on arrival were upgraded from a standard city view to a superior city view which was very much appreciated. The superior room is spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable with good pillows and very good bedding (nice cotton sheets). Black out drapes also provide a very good sleep and were excellent. You do hear some street noise depending on the night and how much activity is outside though. The room safe is huge and fits a laptop easily. We enjoyed a drink at the rooftop bar overlooking Ioannia’s rooftops which is a great space. Wi fi signal was excellent in the room and the air conditioning unit worked very well. Everything is very clean. Breakfast is very good, and because of Covid it was a buffet with staff serving the guests. All staff are helpful and very friendly. The only shortcoming is parking and the difficulty of unloading and reloading the car with luggage. The problem is not paying €8.00 per day or even the block that it is away from the hotel. The problem is checking in and checking out. I’m not sure how the hotel can remedy this problem. We loved everything about the hotel, but unfortunately because of the parking/arrival/departure difficulties, we probably wouldn’t stay at the hotel again. Unfortunate because it’s an awesome hotel!! Therefore I am giving it a 5 circle rating based on the hotel itself.

The hotel is stylish, in a great location as it’s easy to walk to restaurants, sites, etc. We stayed 2 nights and on arrival were upgraded from a standard city view to a superior city view which was very much appreciated. The superior room is spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable with good pillows and very good bedding (nice cotton sheets). Black out drapes also provide a very good sleep and were excellent. You do hear some street noise depending on the night and how much activity is outside though. The room safe is huge and fits a laptop easily. We enjoyed a drink at the rooftop bar overlooking Ioannia’s rooftops which is a great space. Wi fi signal was excellent in the room and the air conditioning unit worked very well. Everything is very clean. Breakfast is very good, and because of Covid it was a buffet with staff serving the guests. All staff are helpful and very friendly. The only shortcoming is parking and the difficulty of unloading and reloading the car with luggage. The problem is not paying €8.00 per day or even the block that it is away from the hotel. The problem is checking in and checking out. I’m not sure how the hotel can remedy this problem. We loved everything about the hotel, but unfortunately because of the parking/arrival/departure difficulties, we probably wouldn’t stay at the hotel again. Unfortunate because it’s an awesome hotel!! Therefore I am giving it a 5 circle rating based on the hotel itself.

That being said, the breakfast area is beautiful and quaint and has amazing coffee and a nice choice for breakfast. I had two wonderful massages while I was there, and the prices couldn’t be beat. I recommend the exfoliating salt and sugar massage. As far as the staff, they couldn’t be nicer. All of them were so wonderful, and all the little extra touches were so appreciated. Always giving us water and snacks for our day trips. When we return to Ioannina, I will look no further for a hotel. We will definitely stay in the Hotel Kamares again. For those who want to stay in town walking distance to the lake and many restaurants it’s the place to stay.

Μείναμε στο ξενοδοχείο αυτό για 2η φορά,βρίσκεται σε μία ήσυχη περιοχή στο Πέραμα Ιωαννίνων ,μακρυά από τον θόρυβο της πόλης,υπάρχει καλός χώρος για πάρκινγκ.Τα δωμάτια σίγουρα δεν είναι κάτι το ιδιαίτερο,είναι όμως ζεστά τον χειμώνα και δροσερά το καλοκαίρι,η καθαριότητα και η ευρυχωρία είναι κάτι που τα χαρακτηρίζει .Οι υπεύθυνοι του καταλύματος ευγενικοί και εξυπηρετικοί.Οι τιμές θεωρώ πως είναι μια χαρά.Μια μικρή παρατήρηση ίσως η ντουζιέρα με την κλασσική κουρτίνα μπάνιου καλό θα ήταν να αντικατασταθεί από ενα πλαστικό τζάμι.Θα έμενα ξανά.
