The Central Hotel was nice and the staff was quite helpful. It is a classic motor hotel from the 60s. Well maintained and run well. There's not much to see or do in Inverness and the food at the restaurants is Ok. Lots of fast food and very few opportunities for a veggie forward meal. The restaurants in Inverness seem to be "hardy" meat and potatoes style with friendly staff and few veggies on the menus. It's a 30 minute drive one way to the crystal river area so not super convenient if you want to see the Manatees.

We stay here often and love this mom & pop type place. There is easy access right behind the hotel to the 'Rails-to Trails" path and the hotel is always clean and comfortable. This stay, we were only here overnight and had put up the "Do not Disturb" sign to let housekeeping know we were not up and out yet but at 8:30 AM that was disregarded and she knocked on our door. :( i understand that these may be left on doors as people check out but never until closer/after check out time. Please don't let this happen again? We'd like to come back!

Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff was personable and helpful! We asked about a good place for breakfast and they suggested Cinnamon Sticks which is on the property. Great service and excellent food. We will book again

The beds were very comfortable however the hotel is definitely outdated. And coffee pot was dirty not cleaned in sometime. But overall a good stay

The bed was grear. I slept like a rock. The breakfast place next for was amazing. Highly recommend this motel if you're in the area.

No other hotel can match the value here.
This place has been remodeled properly, not just patched up as often you will find in these smaller private hotels. , while the outside is in good shape it looks old however inside the room you would think you were in a newer big chain Hotel. The Sheets and Towels were thick and of good quality, the pillows were just as good. Very clean, even a proctor on the TV remote!

This hotel is a hidden gem. Super clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds, a nice balcony if you stay on the second floor. Also, well priced.
