Every part of our stay was a gob-smacking good time! Complementary brekky, tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries, fresh milk and even complementary bottled water (much appreciated after a stint at The Welder's Dog downstairs). Perfect service from check in to check out; the host is on top of her game and housekeeping is first class. The enchanting old building with a very clever renovation had us gushing at every turn. Huge rooms, super high ceilings, skylights & so much more. Quality bedlinen, towels, curtains and even the magazines were hard to put down. The old building (1886) was respectfully re-worked into a warm, welcoming space without forfeiting its integrity. The bathrooms were stunning with a nod to the past peeking out in exposed brick walls and arched brick window frames. I spent time wondering about who had been here before us. From horseback to carriage to car & bike.....if only the walls could talk!
