In addition, Changshou Road Metro Station is just a short walk away. With multiple attractions nearby including Jingan Temple, Shanghai Jade Buddha Temple and Bandai Namco Shanghai Cultural Center Dream Theater, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Germaphobes can rest easy - the level of cleanliness is highly rated at this hotel. This hotel is the usual choice for a large number of business travelers.

"The hotel's reservation department provided truly terrible service! Because my child had an exam, I called the reservation department in advance to request a quieter room and paid for an upgrade. The lady from reservations told me over the phone that they would arrange a corner room near the elevator, but she didn't mention it was a connecting room. After checking in, we constantly smelled smoke, and the door offered no soundproofing whatsoever. Besides being near the guest elevator, it was even closer to the service elevator lobby, so there was constant cleaning noise during the day (the cleaning staff were great, very friendly and hardworking, no issues with them). The window handle in the room was broken – what was the point of upgrading if it's no different from the non-upgraded room type with a sealed window?!"

"Booked an executive river-view suite for my child's exam, and was upgraded to the Presidential Suite for free! What a pleasant surprise! Staying in the Presidential Suite at Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel completely redefined my perception of luxury travel! Located on the 20th floor, the hotel's top level, this exclusive 165 sqm space boasts a discreetly elegant quality. The beige stitched leather low cabinet at the entrance immediately catches the eye; there's no ostentatious display, yet every detail exudes a refined, almost regal charm. The most captivating feature is undoubtedly the panoramic view – 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unobstructed vista of the ancient charm of Yu Garden, the Bund's architectural masterpieces, and the iconic Lujiazui skyline. By day, traditional black-tiled roofs contrast beautifully with modern skyscrapers, while at night, the river sparkles with dazzling neon lights. Soaking in the bathtub while facing such a magnificent scene is pure bliss, making you forget the passage of time. The interior layout balances functionality with comfort; the living room is spacious and airy, with crystal chandeliers casting soft reflections. Custom fabric sofas and walnut veneer furniture make it perfect for both business meetings and intimate family gatherings. The bedroom's warm ambiance is incredibly soothing, and the Egyptian cotton bedding feels like sleeping on clouds, ensuring a restful night. The bathroom features luxurious double vanity sinks and a round Jacuzzi, with a full set of high-end toiletries elevating bathing into a therapeutic ritual. The service is impeccable, with a 24-hour exclusive butler available on call, ensuring every detail contributes to a truly welcoming experience. Guests also enjoy access to the executive lounge on the 17th-18th floors for breakfast and happy hour, offering value that far exceeds expectations. Whether for high-end business needs or a luxurious vacation, this Presidential Suite perfectly delivers. Next time I visit Yu Garden, I will definitely choose this hotel again to unlock more wonderful experiences high above the clouds!"

"My recent stay at the Hilton Hongqiao Airport significantly exceeded my initial expectations, and the pleasant surprises unfolded gradually throughout the check-in process, rather than all at once. Upon arrival, my room was still being prepared. Daniel at the front desk handled my check-in. His communication was clear and measured; he first explained the situation thoroughly, then helped me arrange my subsequent plans in sync with my itinerary, instead of simply telling me to 'wait.' Thanks to Daniel's coordination, I was directed to the Executive Lounge to relax, and the entire transition was seamless, with no awkward waiting or uncertainty. Once settled in the Executive Lounge, the environment remained consistently quiet, perfect for slowing down mid-journey. There, I met Nina, the Executive Lounge Manager. She proactively checked on my check-in status and anticipated my upcoming schedule. Her communication style was very natural, eliminating the need to repeatedly explain my needs – a detail frequently traveling guests can easily appreciate. I had mentally prepared for a longer wait, but soon after, I received a call from the front desk. It was Daniel, informing me that my room was ready for occupancy. The efficiency was much higher than expected, and it kept the entire check-in process comfortably paced. The real sense of delight emerged once I entered the room. I was assigned a Deluxe Aviation View Suite, nearly 100 square meters in size. The space and layout significantly surpassed typical airport hotel expectations. The room had a clear flow, making it very intuitive to use. Outside, there was an unobstructed aviation view, yet the soundproofing with the windows closed was excellent, maintaining a quiet interior – a difficult feat for an airport hotel. Inside the room, there was a welcome fruit platter and a small cake. These details, while not extravagant on their own, appeared at just the right time, clearly conveying that this was a stay that had been thoughtfully prepared. The overall finish and condition of the room made me want to linger a bit longer. Throughout my stay, Nina continuously monitored the overall pace, including coordinating subsequent time arrangements, all handled impeccably. This made the entire trip feel relaxed and organized, without me needing to constantly reconfirm details. Her service style wasn't overtly demonstrative, but she was always present at key moments, greatly contributing to the completeness of the overall experience. Looking at the overall experience, what impressed me most about this stay wasn't just the room type itself, but the seamless flow of information between the front desk and the lounge. From Daniel's judgment and handling in the lobby to Nina's meticulous follow-up and coordination in the lounge, the entire process was interconnected, with no service gaps or need to repeatedly explain my background. For guests who frequently transfer, depart, or arrive at Hongqiao, this hotel's mature service level, beyond its hardware facilities, is a significant bonus. After this stay, it will become one of my top choices in this area."

"Came here with friends to visit Disney and stumbled upon this Mars-themed guesthouse. Stepping inside felt like entering a fairy tale! There's a super realistic and adorable pineapple house, just like SpongeBob's, a swimming pool, and a 'sky ladder' (where you can even catch the Disney fireworks!). So many photogenic spots for amazing pictures. The rooms were all very comfortable, with rich Mars-themed decor. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, even providing pick-up and drop-off services to Disney, which was super convenient. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends! ✌🏿"

"I've never willingly given a hotel a perfect five-star rating, but this one deserves it. The location is absolutely fantastic, right above IFC and surrounded by major shopping malls. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Disney Store, the Oriental Pearl Tower, and the Bund. Even though it's a 10-year-old hotel, you really have to stay here to understand just how incredibly well-maintained it is. The service is practically on-demand; they respond to almost any request incredibly quickly. While they don't automatically deliver takeout to your room, you can call concierge and they'll bring it up. The hotel breakfast offers a good variety, and everything tastes delicious. 'Variety' is relative, of course – it can't compare to places that specialize solely in breakfast, but it's very good nonetheless. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to any family or friends who need a place to stay in Shanghai."

Hotel near Lujiazui Area,Shanghai
Spanning the 79th through 93rd floors of the Shanghai World Financial Centre (SWFC), Park Hyatt Shanghai has been established itself as the city’s leading ultra-luxury hotel and the first to bring true sophistication to Shanghai. The interior of Park Hyatt Shanghai has been created by the award-wining New York-based designer Tony Chi of tony chi and associates, with respect to traditional Chinese geometry and architecture, while providing all the comforts of a stately modern home. To preserve the quality of the product and the level of service and attention to detail, the number of guestrooms has been limited to 173. The standard rooms, measuring 55 to 60 square meters (592 to 646 square feet), coupled with the generous 3.1-metre ceiling height.Unique, memorable dining and wining experiences are offered at the choice of restaurants featuring Western and Chinese cuisines, or guests can just take in the view above the clouds while sipping a signature cocktail in the highest bar in Shanghai. The hotel is also home to the renowned Water’s Edge spa, a relaxation zone for guests to restore harmonious balance to body and mind.

"I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt in the World Financial Tower in Shanghai for one night, from May 3rd to May 4th. I booked a Bund View room, and while the view was spectacular, the overall experience left something to be desired. The room was spacious but sparsely decorated, with a small TV and a somewhat awkward bathroom layout. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows went flat quickly. Check-in was quick and the staff was friendly, though my request for a higher floor wasn’t accommodated. The check-out process was smooth. However, I was disappointed by the need to pay a deposit despite being a platinum member, and by the lack of complimentary minibar items, which I’ve come to expect in similar hotels. I didn’t get to use the pool, but it looked nice with a great view. Unfortunately, the hotel’s dress code policy meant I couldn’t dine at their restaurants since I wore shorts on a hot day, which felt inconvenient. This led me to dine at the Jin Mao Tower next door, which offered a lovely buffet. Overall, while the view was stunning and the bed comfortable, the room felt overpriced for what it offered. I’d recommend considering the neighboring Jin Mao Tower for a better value and experience."

"The service was great, and the breakfast was very satisfying. The owner is very thoughtful, providing everything from children's shower gel, slippers, and toothbrushes to even a bathtub liner, which was a very nice touch. They also offer shuttle service to the theme park. After the fireworks show, we had to take a bit of a detour due to traffic, catching two bus stops to the outer area, but the hotel's car picked us up promptly. The only minor drawback is that the cleanliness could be improved; there were still hairs from the previous guest on the hand soap dispenser and the mirror in the room."
