"The off-season travel is very cost-effective. Staying with friends on this trip is also very pleasant. The service of the homestay is very standardized. The housekeeper is very dedicated and the response to the problem is very fast. The sanitary conditions are very good. Use disposable bath towels instead of disinfection towels. It feels more hygienic and also provides toilet covers. The bath temperature is no problem. It is not a small water heater for the family. The water flow is sufficient to wash it very happily. The only downside is that our room type has three bedrooms, two living rooms and two bathrooms. There is no bathroom in the downstairs room. I can go upstairs to the toilet at night... The location of the homestay is also good, I recommend everyone to try"

"J had a lovely stay at the Argyle resort and the fact that you just need to cross the parking lot to get to the Dongshan Bathing Spot is definitely amazing! There are some tourist attractions close by, but very far from historical sites. The room was ok, but it looked different from the pictures. Probably a bit of mold on the wall or water damage, dirty windows, and a piece of the wardrobe door was broken. Not what I would expect at a resort. The breakfast had so many options, but very few western choices, limited to sliced bread, butter and jam, yogurt, fruits and coffee. The coffee machine always had an issue, but the staff quickly came to fix it. During my stay there, everyday someone complained about the coffee maker. One of the things that I found really nice is that every day they would bring or leave fruit in my room. But on the last day, I was sleeping, and someone came in. She did apologize, but it was weird having someone in your room while you’re there. In terms of amenities, they have everything really! From shower cap to razors. And the blow dryer was really good! Because it was golden week, the staff was overwhelmed with work (lots of guests and weddings) and they didn’t talk about the facilities - gym, pool, hot springs."

"The hotel facilities are very new, and it's a 15-20 minute drive from Beidaihe Railway Station. It's quite quiet now, with few tourists. The beach is a 2-minute walk away. Actually, the hotel is located within the Blue Coast development, so you'll need to take a car to find dining options. Within a 5-minute walk, there's a Lawson, Mr. Savage, and Starbucks. The view is definitely the selling point of this hotel; the sea view is fantastic! It's just a shame it's been a bit cold these past two days; the temperature here is 5-10 degrees lower than in Tianjin. The Chinese restaurant serves good food, with Cantonese cuisine that really hits the spot. The pool was practically empty. The outdoor pool was under maintenance, but the indoor heated pool was open from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The breakfast downstairs had a good variety of options, ranking above average for a Marriott. Overall, the service was excellent, and the staff were very polite. Looking forward to my next visit!"

"The room looks exactly like the pictures, beautiful. The window faces the sea, so you can enjoy the ocean view right from your room. There's a huge bathtub, and the hotel even provides disposable bathtub liners. The water is also very hot, which is great. The front desk offers snacks for feeding the seagulls, and the hotel service is excellent. The soundproofing is good, and it's very convenient that there are complimentary daily necessities like hot drinks and hair ties available near the front desk for guests to take."
