Metro Station within walking distance. Seeing Kunming's sights from this hotel is easy with Yuantong Temple, Old Street Kunming and Nanping Pedestrian Street all close by. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Kunming hotel provides parking on site. If cleanliness is important to you, this hotel makes an excellent choice, as our guests consider this to be one of the cleanest hotels in the city. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.
"My first stop on my post-resignation trip was Kunming. I spent a long time deliberating over hotels and finally settled on the Red Hotel. I'm so glad I did! The hotel is very close to Cuihu Lake, and the surrounding residential area is quiet. Although the room wasn't huge, it was very clean. The balcony had a flower box and offered a view of Cuihu Lake. What I liked most: The bedding was incredibly comfortable. I'm a very light sleeper and particular about beds, but the pillows weren't too high and were just right. The bed itself was also perfectly firm, not too soft and not too hard. The shower was also fantastic – you can tell a lot about a hotel by its shower! Both showerheads had excellent water pressure and a high flow rate. The service was also top-notch. At check-in, they gave me a warm, freshly baked flower pastry, and there was complimentary late-night rice noodle soup. The dinner staff were so enthusiastic, proactively asking if I wanted another bowl or some ice cream. A big thumbs up to the lady working there! Upon check-out, they even gave me a farewell gift. It's not about how fancy the gift is, but the thought that counts. This made my first solo travel destination incredibly satisfying. And the front desk staff, both the guys and girls, were so handsome and beautiful! The soundproofing in the room was just okay, but it wasn't noisy outside, so it was fine. My only suggestion: please add some peanut butter next to the toaster at breakfast. This is my first time writing such a long review, which shows just how satisfied I am. From now on, I'll be looking out for the Red chain of hotels. Oh, and by the way, the hairdryer was a Dyson. Nice!"

"Service: My check-in experience was incredibly satisfying. There was parking assistance and luggage service, which immediately showcased the professionalism, youth, enthusiasm, and spirit of the service team. In terms of management, I believe it surpasses many older five-star hotels in its level of professionalism. Facilities: The bathtub area is directly connected to the sleeping area, enhancing the overall openness and sense of interaction. As shown in the picture, this bathtub is the best I've experienced in years, bar none. Environment: Having opened in 2025, the hotel is very new and boasts a strong sense of design."

"It's a designer hotel. The rooms are loft style, clean and nice. However, major minor points: you can not use the swimming pool in the evening, the staff is not really willing to look for solutions. We have bikes and they could not be stored ( only in an unsafe public parking outside). The (reception)staff did not really show any willingness to solve the situation..very different from other hotels in China, where our bicycles could each time he stored either in the lobby or in the room. Other minus is the difficult to find location: it's a hidden hotel,unknown by taxi drivers. Our conclusion: quite overpriced hotel"

"The boss is very good, has been picking up the plane without sleeping hahaha, but fortunately, the boss led the way to the airport, the navigation two roads are 45 minutes, the boss led the road is indeed 25 minutes, otherwise you really have to catch the plane. Unfortunately, I arrived at the hotel very late at night, and I set off to the airport very early in the morning. I didn't see the beauty of the small courtyard, but I could feel the boss's careful layout in the dark. It is suitable for a whole day to arrange to come to the farmhouse."

There are KTV, chess and cards, billiards, board games and other entertainment facilities, and the environment is also especially suitable for holding various party parties. Every corner is very good for taking pictures and live broadcasts. From the airport and the high-speed rail station, there are direct subways to walk for 5 minutes to the store.
