The hotel is conveniently located near Maejeon Station, Exit 5, which has an elevator. It's just a short walk from there.
A major drawback is that I wasn't informed beforehand that passport holders cannot self-check-in. There's no front desk, and arriving at night to discover this was quite frustrating. I later saw a notice stating that if you can't check in, you need to contact staff. This could be very problematic for guests who don't speak the local language or are elderly.
Foreign guests can directly contact staff by pressing the prominent intercom button on the machine; English communication is available.
The place appears newly renovated, and the ambiance is great, but there's no elevator. This could be an issue if you're carrying heavy luggage and are assigned a room on the 3rd floor.
The room, though small, is incredibly clean, new, and well-maintained, just like the pictures. The bed and pillows are also very comfortable.
You can take off your shoes and leave your suitcase by the door, as the indoor floor is elevated.
The facilities are quite complete, and the room looks good. The hairdryer works very well.
The towels are also new and soft.
There were drinks and mineral water in the fridge, and a toiletry kit on the table. I checked it, and it was very comprehensive, though I didn't use it as I brought my own.
The hand soap and shampoo/shower gel in the bathroom were excellent; my hair felt great and smelled lovely after washing.
Getting to the airport from here is very convenient, about 30 minutes to Gimpo Airport.
