Villa Inawashiro

I stayed in the Bon Festival in a hurry, but the cospa is the best. The scenery is good, the hot spring is good, and table tennis and karaoke are free. It is cheap enough to not have meals, but I feel more affordable. The room is clean. The lobby lounge is very large. I want to check in early and enjoy the building this time.

We were simply blown away by the service and hospitality at this hotel. From the time we checked in, even though they spoke very little English, we felt welcome and well looked after. We would especially like to single out the manager, Kobiyama, who was so helpful in helping us organize our outings, and even driving us to the train station and up into the hills to the Goshiki-numa lakes – and asked for nothing in return! We were humbled by his generosity. The hotel is located a few kms out of the town, so having a car is definitely a good idea, as there really isn’t too much around the immediate area. Just down the hill through a forested pathway is a shrine. And passing through that is a beautiful water race which you can walk along for miles and miles in either direction. The hotel is large, 3 or 4 stories, and set amongst forest and green lawns – quite a nice setting! The upper floor of the hotel even has lake views over Lake Inawashiro. The tennis court hasn’t been used in years and is covered in thick moss - unusable. Likewise, they no longer have bicycles for rent. Our Japanese style room was of average size, bright and airy, clean and well-maintained. We had a balcony with nice views over the grounds and out to the lake in the distance. There was no bath or shower, so we had to use the onsen just down the hallway. The wifi was good and there was a TV as well which we never used. The AC worked well. The breakfasts were nothing special, typical traditional Japanese fare, but we did get some eggs and ham on our second day there. We did get a great dinner, a set meal of local beef steak, fries, and salad, and it was probably one of the better steaks I’ve had. Overall, we had a great stay and loved the great hospitality. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

The buffet was abundant and very delicious. The hot spring was also beautiful and good. It may be unavoidable, but I thought it smelled strong chlorine. The ski resort was for beginners, but it was very good because it was a gentle slope where even first-timers and children could enjoy sliding. I would like to ask you again. I couldn't go to the pool, but I would like to go this time. I thought the room was deteriorating over time. I felt that the wallpaper in the room was peeled off 々 and I wanted it to be repaired even if it was peeled off.

Bandai Hayama Onsen Inawashiro Kanko Hotel

Inawashiro Tourist Hotel is a hotel located in Hayama, Inawashiro-cho, Yama-gun, Fukushima Prefecture. Adjacent to Inawashiro Ski Resort. On October 8, 2021, I had lunch at RAKUTA on this day. From there, I drove to Inawashiro Tourist Hotel. The parking lot is very large. It looks like a ski resort hotel. The inside of the building is like this. First check in at the front desk. Room 525 on this day. It is a Japanese-style room with 10 tatami mats. It is a room with a lake view. You can see Lake Inawashiro. The sofa is old (bitter smile) Refrigerator. The toilet is a hot water toilet seat. I don't use it, but there is also a bathtub. It's a pity that there was only one outlet in the room and it was very inconvenient. It is a hot spring called ”Bandai Hayama Onsen”. The quality of the spring is trot-rot, and it is said that it is a sodium chloride spring. Wifi is crunchy and I'm happy. Omachikane beer time. The dinner venue is a large hall. Grilled on a pottery plate. Sashimi, simmered dishes, grilled fish. A menu of vinegar, chawanmushi, incense, and rice. Tempura also came. It's a pity that the room was too hot. Grandpa was sleeping with one pants. The breakfast venue is the same hall as dinner. The menu is like this. It's a Japanese and Western eclectic menu. After finishing the meal, I drove ahead.
