We stayed here for one night in between our bike ride on the shimanami kaido. We choose to do the bike route in two days to relax and enjoy it. Room: We had a very good futon in our room. The decoration is very nice. It is clean and simple yet beautifull. Service: the staff is amazing here. They helped my boyfriend plan a romantic dinner in the restaurant opposite the hotel (also an amazing good restaurant!). Location: The hotel is in a good location on Ikuchijima. It is not that far off the main cycle route and the town is very nice to walk through. Not many people may stop during the bike route, but we do recommend it. It is important to also see the local culture and towns on the islands. Breakfast was served in SOIL and was amazing! You can choose for Japanese or western style breakfast. We personnaly prefer the Japanse breakfast. Their coffee is also quite good. The design of SOIL is very beautifull. We felt very relaxed during our breakfast. A special thank you to the hotel staff for helping plan our special moment at their hotel and at the restaurant. <3

I thought this place was remote and difficult to reach by public transportation. For this reason, I took a small amount of money to take a taxi in and out, and I wanted to give a bad evaluation. But the moment you see the hotel facilities and scenery, everything is no longer important. When the weather is good, the room and restaurant can see the super super beautiful scenery! The sunset and morning light are so beautiful. The meal is superb, you must choose one night, two or three meals, each meal is eaten, and the taste is very good. The room is large and the layout is very good. The only regret is that there is no natural hot spring, otherwise you can really choose to live here for three days.

As a facility, I felt nostalgic because it was a bath with a rare Yufune and a washroom at this time. How do you say it is Showa? It is located at the end of the north of imabari Ginza, and the location from the station is not good, but imabari Jo castle is right there. The shopping street has been a complete shutter since the entire Shimanami Kaido road, but there are also shops that have a new sense of vacant stores. It may be a good inn for travelers who can apologize for the old good imabari and enjoy the feeling of being sorry. Breakfast is free, hot coffee is free to drink. Well, efforts are being made.

I stayed at the Kisuke Yu ticket cherry blossom breakfast plan. It is right next to JR Imabari Station and there is Lawson nearby. I can walk a little to the Yakitori shop of Imabari specialty, and the drinking street of Imabari. We arrived about 9 o'clock on Friday night, but the free parking lot was able to stop safely at the last 1. Welcome alcohol is good until 21 o'clock and free drinks can be brought into the room by 0 o'clock. Amenities can be taken freely. I don't know if the lower layer is, but when I stayed upstairs, I didn't hear the sound of the train at all. Kisuke no Yu is very comfortable with a sophisticated hot spring facility, so I recommend a plan with a hot spring ticket.

This hotel is very new, and it's only around 3 minutes walking distant away from the JR station. The lobby is very big with big windows and has many chairs for guest to sit and rest, there are also bike rack for you to lock the bike at the lobby. We were surprised to find out that there's welcome drinks and beer is also included. Our room was on one of the higher floor, so the view was beautiful. Breakfast was buffet style and was amazing, selection was great and delicious. Would definitely stay there again if we visit the area. The only downside is the staff doesn't understand English too well, but not too big of an issue when there's google translate.

Setouchi Retreat Aonagi is a hotel designed for those who appreciate architecture and art. Located in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, this hotel used to be a private art museum and guesthouse before its renovation. It is nestled in a serene highland area, surrounded by mountains and offering distant views of the sea. Please note that we do not accept reservations with children under 12 years of age. A car is necessary to reach the hotel, as it is 22km from Matsuyama Airport and 15km from Matsuyama city center. Parking is available free of charge. We recommend dining within the hotel. The dining option features Japanese cuisine, with a highly regarded Kaiseki dinner course priced at ¥20,350. À la carte options are not available, and reservations must be made by 3:00 PM the day before. There are no restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel, and it is a 30-minute drive to the city center. Guest rooms are equipped with a coffee mill and dripper, terrace or balcony, and a private bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. We welcome guests who appreciate the minimalist design and the opportunity to connect with themselves during their stay.

This is the garden suite that I set for the first night. It is located on the B1 floor of the hotel's annex, which is the first floor. I like it at first sight when facing the garden landscape. Facilities are very complete, humidifier Bluetooth speaker coffee maker and so on, as well as very comfortable mobile hammock! It is really comfortable to lie in the sun and read a book and listen to music. The hotel only has a mini Japanese local TV, but stay in this hotel and don't think about watching TV and experience the beautiful environment! I booked a two-day spa, signature massage and body & facial care package, to relax and unwind. The outdoor pool is only open from June to September, but you can still walk to the front to see the scenery. It is highly recommended to order breakfast and dinner because the hotel restaurant arranges every meal so well, I stayed for four nights without repeating the dishes all day. The hotel also provides airport transfers and round-trip taxis within Matsuyama Castle. A single trip of 3300 yen is a good deal. In short, I will come again in another season.

GGuest UserMy wife and I had a wonderful stay at Ryokan Chaume. This family run Ryokan made us feel at home. The manager drove us to and from a terrific onsen nearby and afterwards we were served a delicious multi-course dinner. The drink list was excellent too. After a tasty Japanese style breakfast we needed help making an onward reservation, so the manager made several calls on our behalf and found us a place that had a last minute cancellation. I would recommend the Ryokan Chaume to anyone looking for a high quality inn.

The view like a side room is so disappointing The sauna glass is not clean and the sauna view is not very ... Nevertheless, the consideration and kindness of the staff were impressed by the way they did their best to lack 10 stars. Very disappointed to be writing this review... Firstly, their website is dreadfully dated and their booking system puzzling, even comically so. It almost feels like using the Wayback Machine... I tried booking five or six months in advance and so I wrote to the hotel to express my excitement for both coming back to Imabari where I once lived and worked teaching English in 1999, and also that I had always wanted to stay at the hotel, as I actually lived directly across the road from the hotel and always thought it so exclusive and luxurious-looking, and it was the talk-of-the-town back in '99 when they were still very new. I was willing to pay a substantial room rate for a Tatami Suite (approx. ¥30,000 per night for three nights) however was advised that they were sold-out for my desired dates-of-stay in March 2023. What irked me is that no alternative accommodation options were offered, despite there still being availability on third-party websites such as *********** and ******* for other room types, and there was no acknowledgment of my excitement and enthusiasm for wanting to be a guest of theirs' after so many years, or for any disappointment caused. This is terrible service, and not exactly what one would call 'growing the business' to reject a potential guest despite having other rooms and suites available to sell. We instead booked ourselves a washitsu (traditional Japanese tatami room) at Hotel Kikusui Imabari down by the port, which was cute, comfortable, clean, and looks to have had recently had a refurbishment of their guestrooms as the bathrooms while small were nice and new. The cost of this room was also about a third of what the Kokusai Imabari Hotel asks for their Tatami Suites as well. I still wanted to go to the Kokusai Imabri Hotel however and at least see their gardens and lobby, pick up some Imbari towels from the official store at the front entrance, and have breakfast in their restaurant. The lobby is very nice and it does have the grandeur of a Japanese hotel trying to be a European hotel without being tacky or dated, and it does appear that they have recently cleaned all the chandeliers (I'd read other reviews and this seems to have been a first impression for a lot of guests, so this was a nice surprise to see them dust-free). We had a look at the gardens outside and they were very nice and maintained as to be expected with Japanese gardens. So why the 1 star review? Well, we wanted to treat ourselves to what we thought would be a five-star breakfast. We were told to go upstairs to the mezzanine level and we met a nice lady staff member who advised that breakfast would be roughly ¥2,400 per person. No problem, that's fair for a good buffet breakfast. We were then however lead into a huge banquet hall with only a couple of dozen guests dining, which made it feel even emptier and more like a school cafeteria rather than a classy restaurant. We then went to the buffet and it seems that none of the bain mar

効三 徳Nibukawa Onsen is a hot spring area located in Nibukawa, Tamagawa-cho, Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture. It is said to be the three hot springs of Iyo along with Dogo Onsen and Hondani Onsen. Mikado, Dutsukawa Onsen, is an inn located in Dutsukawa Onsen. I will stay here this time. On December 10, 2020, I visited Nishiyama Koryuji Temple on that day. From there, I drove to the parking lot of Mikato. It is an unpaved parking lot, but it is easy to park. Enter the entrance. The hall has a Showa retro atmosphere. I will stay in a room called Yoshino on the first floor on this day. Japanese-style room. A massage chair is attached to the room. I go to a hot spring, but the room also has a bath. The room bath is also a hot spring, which is a luxury. Outside the window is a valley. Although it is an old room, the toilet is a hot water toilet seat. I had time to dinner, so I decided to take a walk. I can see something like a promenade under the road, but it seems that it has been left unattended for a considerable period of time, so I decided to go on the road. Enter the promenade where you are going ahead. You can see the reverse arched bridge. It is called Yunohana Bridge, and it seems to be a rare shape with only 2 places nationwide. The valley is beautiful. I walked to the Fureai Bridge. Worship at Yu Shrine. I'm back at the inn. It's a long-awaited dinner. The quality of the hot springs I entered before the meal was excellent. It seems that the content of radon in the source is large. The menu of this day is an inobuta hot pot. Shirako tofu. Grilled salmon with salt. sashimi. Tempura. What a matsutake mushroom tempura. Sake is Yukijaku. Seafood carpaccio. Kamameshi. Ise shrimp. Dessert is almond tofu. Take a good rest and have breakfast. After the meal, celebrate the birthday of the treasure with the cake you received. Check out and proceeded ahead.

GGuest UserIt is a long established inn, and it is like a hot spring inn. It was full of Showa retro feeling, such as the cluttered corridors, wooden stairs railings, and tiled wash basins, but it was OK at all because it was a cheap night stay. The bath is also shared 1 Every time two people enter, they lock it. The building is old, but the toilet was a washlet, and the hair dryer and pot in the room were new and clean. The walls are thin, but the guests around me seemed to be sensible, and I was able to spend quiet and comfortable at night. Imabari hand towels are also a nice service. Since it was an online reservation, I asked if I could issue a receipt, but I kindly asked him to issue it. The location is close to Imabari Port, but I walked about 10 minutes from Imabari Station in the shopping street.

Nnorio386I used it on the pilgrimage in March 2021. Arriving at the hotel at 15:30, you can see it from the 55th Fudasho Nankobo, the room is a little small with a W bed, and it is a vinine hotel, so it is clean as it is. It is undeniable that it is aging due to aging. I think people on the pilgrimage are in a convenient place. Since there is no dinner, I procured food at a nearby supermarket (Super Marunaka, which takes less than 10 minutes on foot), breakfast was 6:30, buffet style, there were many items and the taste was reasonably good. The dining room door opened at 6:30 for breakfast at this hotel. I feel that 6600 yen including tax is a little expensive for this breakfast, but I feel that it can't be helped because it is close to Nankobo and the location is good. It's not bad here, but there are many hotels near here, so I'll stay at another hotel next time I come.
