Great location, convenient to Rhino Rock

Stopover at hvammstangi and hotel chosen by our agency. Good geographical location and close to restaurant, gas station and other amenities. Reception and check-in only between 4 and 7 p.m. Only one person manages the establishment. The shoes and jackets at the entrance immediately tell you that this is not a classic hotel. No explanation from the person and we go to the room. Rather small size but not serious and the bedding is good. The shower curtain always sticks to you a little, if you're a fan. No hairdryer. No blackout curtains. But the highlight of the show is breakfast: the person asks us where we want to sit. We choose a table among the 6 or 7. Then she leaves and we see that there is nothing to eat, just the coffee machine... In fact we understand that people bring their own food and make themselves at home . 3 minutes later the person arrives with a small board with 4 pieces of toast, a portion of butter and jam and 4 slices of cheese... And she leaves!! A little surprised we eat but quickly we finish. I ask if we can have at least a glass of orange juice... There isn't any... In fact you have to ask for each piece of toast. So it's everything except a breakfast included. I would have liked to have been informed before seeing it at the time, especially since on a road trip, this meal is rather important. Big disappointment and to be avoided if you are looking for a hotel.

Small hotel but the owner makes it pleasant with the concern she shows towards customers. Small but clean rooms, well-stocked bathroom and spacious breakfast room. Discreet choice of products for continental breakfast. Parking in front, free wifi.
