After the epidemic, I haven't stayed in such a unique hotel for a long time. I called in advance and the front desk upgraded the family room for free. The lake view room has a particularly good view. It has a strong European style, which is very similar to Italy that I visited a few years ago. It is very similar to southern France. I heard that the items in the hotel were all shipped back from Spain by the owner. The second favorite thing is that the hotel is right on the edge of Taihu Lake. Halfway up the mountain, apart from taking pictures at the hotel, the most enjoyable thing is to climb the mountain. There are several viewing platforms to enjoy the lake view. The only drawback is that the breakfast variety is a bit single and there is no coffee, but compared to the beautiful scenery, these are still acceptable!

Each hotel has its advantages and disadvantages, let's talk about the advantages first. As a new hotel, the service attitude of the clerk is still very good. When we checked in, the tall and thin Ms. Tian at the front desk helped us carry our luggage up and down, and helped us adjust the room, trying to meet the customer's requirements, and worked meticulously and seriously. also. Since we were going to have breakfast at the South Taihu Villa at the bottom of the mountain, we had to queue up to ask for a number. When we arrived, there were already more than 60 people, and there were only 40 minutes left before the end of breakfast at 10:30. I had to ask the front desk of Wanghu Hotel to solve it. Qian Yu and Huan Lian, two handsome young men who were on duty at the front desk that day, worked hard to follow up and coordinate, and packed breakfast to our room. The next morning, it happened that Qian Yu was on duty at the front desk, and we proposed to continue to deliver the morning to the room. Without further ado, we immediately drove the battery car down to help us pack it up. The respectful and polite, serious and careful professional service level is really unforgettable. The professional quality of the above three service personnel is the most impressive part of staying at Lakeview Hotel. The disadvantages of the hotel are: 1. The name is Wanghu, not Linhu. There is still a distance from the lake view. You have to be on the highest floor of the main service desk to see the lake view. If you live downstairs, you will see a lot of construction sites. 2. The selection of materials for the hot spring pool is flawed, which is not conducive to drainage and cleaning. When you press the drain button when you go out, after 4 hours, the seat of the pool is still full of water and cannot be drained. It took a full hour to use a towel to remove and clean up the dirt one by one. As you can imagine, this bubble pool is very difficult to clean, especially those circular devices for spraying water, which are slippery when touched by hands, which proves that it has not been cleaned for a long time! Every time a guest leaves, if the staff has to clean it, it is time-consuming and simply cannot afford it. 3. The hotel's breakfast supply depends on the South Taihu Mountain Villa. The guests of the Wanghu Hotel do not enjoy the corresponding VIP treatment. This problem has already occurred during the Spring Festival, and no proper measures have been taken to solve it. It shows that there is a problem with the overall management of the hotel management, and I hope it will be improved in the future.

This vacation at Nantaihu Villa in Huzhou left me with very good memories. The villa has a beautiful environment, with the surrounding green mountains and lakes complementing each other, and the scenery is pleasant. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, tastefully decorated and had a distant view of the lake from the balcony. Bingbing's service was very attentive. She also enthusiastically introduced us to the attractions near the villa and recommended many interesting places to us. The weekend time at the villa is relaxing and comfortable, allowing us to relax and heal our fatigue after busy work. Thank you very much to Bingbing and all the staff at the villa for their service, which allowed us to enjoy an unforgettable vacation time in a picturesque environment. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back to Nantaihu Villa and recommend it to my friends.

The lobby is beautiful and so is the entire hotel. Really liked our big tub in our room, automatic curtains, lake view, and rainfall shower. There is an outdoor pool, but it was still cold season so it wasn’t open, but I imagine it would have been great. We used the indoor pool, which was heated and had a nice view of the lake. We ordered room service dinner the first night. The prices were the same as the restaurant and arrived in about 30 minutes. Nice job! The taste was ok, not amazing but for the price I won’t complain too much. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They always tried to give me staff who could speak English even though I didn’t need it. They gave us a tour of our room when we checked in and whenever I called the front desk to ask for anything, they brought it to our room immediately. Absolutely wonderful service The only negative I have is about the food itself at the hotel buffet restaurant (the other restaurants were closed at the time so we only ate at the buffet in the lobby). The buffet dinner is roughly 300rmb per person on a weekday and includes alcohol. The choice of food and quality was honestly not even worth 100rmb in my opinion, but I also hold the hotel at high standards. I’ve never seen an international dinner buffet with no bread before. Though to be fair, the majority of guests were Chinese ayi’s at the time and it was off season, so perhaps they adjusted the food to their taste, not that of a foreigner. Lastly, the hot spring facility was good. It’s actually at the neighboring hotel, but they give you a free golf cart ride there and back. There’s changing rooms. The hot springs are actually indoor with a glass ceiling (that you can’t see through). There are a TON of hot springs, definitely more than usual. I didn’t count but I think I saw more than 15 or 20 different pools. My only complaint, and it’s a big one, is people were smoking in the hot springs and it really pissed me off.

My friend and I had an incredible stay at one of the villas here. Yang, one of the English-speaking staff, was a wonderful host. When we arrived, he made sure the check-in process was a breeze, gave us a tour of the property and even made spa reservations for us. We loved relaxing in the hot springs (there are around 20 pools to chill out in!) which are included in the hotel price and located right on the property. The buffet breakfast was at the Sheraton, which is right beside the villas (this property and the Sheraton have the same owners). The breakfast spread was delicious and included a variety of western and Chinese options. The villa we stayed in was super spacious with comfy beds, living area and kitchen. All in all, we had an awesome weekend here and can't wait to come back in the summer so we can enjoy the outdoor pools. :)
