Giraffe Manor Hotel

Facilities: The facilities are quite old, and the windows weren't very clean, so the view was obstructed. Check-in was in a small separate building, and the accommodation was in a different area. Cleanliness: Very clean, which is definitely a plus. The floors were dust-free. Environment: It might be because it's winter now, but the surroundings were desolate. There were no activities at night, so all you could do was sleep. Food delivery wasn't available either. Breakfast was extremely crowded, and you had to wait in a long queue. Service: The front desk staff seemed flustered during check-in. The shuttle bus drivers were all great! The butler was also very good, but the staff at the giraffe interaction platform were incredibly rude! Overall, there wasn't much to do. The only selling point, feeding the giraffes, can be done at any zoo, so it's not worth coming here specifically for it.

Visiting Giraffe Manor in winter was such a delightful surprise! It unlocked a completely different, therapeutic experience, and even a full day there left me wanting more. Surrounded by bamboo groves, the winter manor felt wonderfully tranquil and gentle, free from the usual crowds. They thoughtfully opened an indoor interaction area for the giraffes, so you could feed them up close without braving the cold. Watching those long legs delicately snatch carrots, and snapping photos with them face-to-face, was just adorable. On sunny days, they'd even come out to sunbathe – a truly heartwarming sight. This place is a paradise for travel photography; the giraffe sculpture archway, the wooden boardwalk by the bamboo forest hot springs, and the panoramic windows in the restaurant are all prime photo spots. Just stand there in light-colored clothes, and every shot looks like a magical forest-themed masterpiece. The manor's travel photography service was also incredibly helpful, making it easy to capture those beautiful moments.

The environment at the manor is absolutely stunning! You feel constantly surrounded by fresh air, with bamboo forests everywhere. We saw red-crowned cranes, egrets, and grey herons all the time. Feeding the raccoons, parrots, and giraffes was so much fun, and the kids absolutely loved it. Breakfast was great; even though there weren't any giraffes for interaction, the raccoons came out to roam, and there were two ostriches too! The complimentary travel photoshoot was a nice touch, and the kids got some pictures they really liked. We also received complimentary feeding bait, which was really thoughtful. The welcome fruit and snacks were a pleasant surprise. The front desk even upgraded us to a cabin, and we were incredibly satisfied with our stay! We can't wait to come back again!

Had a fantastic stay, and I'll definitely be back. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. Manager Sisi was super reliable, and the hotel was spotlessly clean.

Dining with giraffes for breakfast at Huzhou Giraffe Manor is a signature experience, exclusively for overnight guests. The restaurant features panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows where the giraffes will poke their heads in to interact. Additionally, the Giraffe Interaction Plaza is open all day, allowing visitors to purchase carrots for feeding and photo opportunities. The Cute Pet Park is home to various adorable animals like raccoons, peacocks, ostriches, and kangaroos, with some available for feeding. The 'New Vision Travel Photography' service was excellent; they informed us of the shooting time in advance, were very welcoming, and the photos turned out beautifully! Thumbs up! [smiley faces]
