This was my first time traveling with my dog, and the guesthouse experience was great. First off, it's super close to the scenic area. I'd recommend parking at parking lot #1; it's just a few minutes' walk. The guesthouse was very clean, with no bugs. I'd looked at several other hotels and decided against them because of insects, but this one was spotless. All the facilities were fine too; the hot water was quick, the bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning kept the room nice and warm. The service was excellent, and the owner was lovely. They didn't charge any extra cleaning fees for bringing my dog, which was a huge plus. If you're traveling with your dog and looking for a place to stay overnight near Nanxun Ancient Town, this guesthouse is truly perfect.

If your staff is so unwelcoming and resentful towards pets, then don't brand yourselves as a pet-friendly hotel. We didn't complain when construction started buzzing outside at 6 AM. The room was on the first floor and had bugs and ants – fine, I let that slide, thinking it wasn't worth getting upset over while on vacation. So, what's wrong with walking my dog in the yard after breakfast? (I'd already asked the owner, and they said it was okay to have him in the yard, and I was supervising him the whole time). After about twenty minutes, two cleaning staff members came over and spoke to me extremely rudely: "That big dog is terrifying, what if it bites me? Why isn't it kept in the room?" Who would be happy getting yelled at first thing in the morning? I replied, "The owner said it was fine." This conversation repeated twice, and then she muttered something about reporting it or filing a complaint. Since they needed to work, I wasn't going to stay in the yard, so I called the dog back into the room right in front of them. At least, one should be gracious when possible, especially since I hadn't done anything wrong. The 'happy person yields' principle, I guess. When they swept near my door, the dog barked outside, and I heard some woman say, "Barking ************, s** dog." She probably thought I hadn't opened the window and couldn't hear her. 🙂 I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but if it weren't for that comment, I wouldn't have been so upset and wronged. We are customers, not just anyone for you to insult freely. If you're working, then do your job well and don't take your aggression out on small animals. Speaking civilly and politely is basic communication, isn't it? Is it a crime for us to travel with our dogs? And should we be insulted even when staying at a pet-friendly hotel? This is simply too much bullying.

A beautiful homestay. The environment is excellent, very clean, and it's super close to the ancient town.

The hotel's location is excellent, right outside the ancient town's streets, making it very convenient for sightseeing, perfect for independent travelers. The rooms are decent, and the staff's attitude is very good. The only issue is that the entrance to the hotel by car is a bit hard to find, with no signs. Breakfast is just a bowl of noodles from the shop across the street, which is a bit simple.

The room was very clean and the staff were friendly. I'll definitely come back again.

Good service and great location in Nan Xun Ancient town. Easily access.

The hotel is inside the old town and just a short walk from the town entrance. The room is spacious. Breakfast is served in a nearby building and quite good.

The lobby was amazing and the staff felt like family. Honestly they treated me like one of their own and were always ready to help. I don’t speak Chinese but they still managed to assist me in the best way possible. The hotel itself was great and I had a really good experience.

Good service

It was a lovely accommodation, well-thought out and designed. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were big, comfortable and airy. Breakfast was a little bit of a letdown. No choice and the same food was served for both mornings. The restaurant was undergoing renovations so we would be eating halfway when the tranquility would be abruptly disrupted by heavy renovation works.

Highly recommend this Hotel, good location which just few step to the ancient town. Very convenient as there are lot of restaurant nearby. The room is very big, consider the biggest room during my trip at JiangSu City. Too bad I never capture the photo of the room, but this ancient town is very beautiful, a must to visit !

The best part of this hotel is that it’s so bc lose to the old town. The vibes were good the staff were friendly and the breakfast was amazing.

The warm and welcoming ambiance of the hotel created a home away from home, where guests felt embraceed by a sense of comfort and hospitality. Very convenient access to major attractions, just 1min walking distance to 南浔古镇. Quite place and comfortable bed, can have a very nice sleep.
