Fairfield by Marriott Huzhou Nanxun

Staying at the Fairfield by Marriott Nanxun was such a pleasant surprise! The hotel is located within an 'elephant'-shaped landmark building, cleverly echoing Nanxun's 'Four Elephants and Eight Oxen' culture, with a design that's both minimalist and rich in heritage. The location is superb, very close to Nanxun Station and super convenient for visiting the ancient town. The rooms are brand new and fully equipped, with comfortable bedding, a large TV, and high-speed WiFi – everything you need. The spacious shower washed away all my travel fatigue. Breakfast offers a great mix of Chinese and Western options, plus local specialties like Ding Sheng Gao, which was delicious and thoughtful. The 24-hour fitness center and self-service laundry room are incredibly practical. The staff were warm and attentive, making the entire experience smooth and comfortable. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and exploring the ancient town!

My stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Nanxun Elephant Hotel was an overall excellent experience, completely exceeding my expectations! As a distinctive Marriott property, its advantages truly stand out, making it a fantastic choice for travelers. I was particularly delighted to find that the hotel is newly renovated. There was virtually no strange odor in the room, which made for a very reassuring stay – no worries about formaldehyde. I especially want to commend staff member Darling Duan for the service. From check-in to responding to daily requests, she was incredibly prompt, kind, and thoughtful, taking care of every detail. The location is another huge plus; it's very close to the high-speed train station, making both arrival and departure incredibly convenient and saving a lot of hassle from long commutes. The hotel felt very peaceful during my stay. There weren't too many guests, so it wasn't crowded or noisy, allowing for a very comfortable rest. The breakfast selection was exceptionally rich, catering to different tastes, and it was lovely to start the day well-fed and refreshed. Furthermore, the hotel's elephant-shaped exterior is very distinctive, and the hallways are adorned with greenery, giving the whole environment a stylish vibe. The accompanying gym and laundry room are also very practical, offering great value for money. The only minor drawback was the room window. It could clearly be opened but was locked. If guests were allowed to open the window for some fresh air, the overall experience would be even better. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel, suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I'll most likely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Nanxun!

The environment is clean, facilities are complete, and the breakfast is amazing – please keep it up! Highly recommended, I'll be back for Chinese New Year.

Don't make the same mistake I did and fall for this. Fairfield Inn is Fairfield Inn, Marriott is Marriott – these are two separate hotels. Don't be fooled by Fairfield Inn; it's basically on par with budget chain hotels like Hanting or Home Inn, with simple decor and terrible service. Can you believe a hotel has no restaurant? It's completely lacking basic amenities. Fairfield Inn only occupies a few floors in the Elephant Building, so it's very low-tier. The suites have the same layout as standard rooms, just with an extra TV. I'll never stay here again.

This is the worst Marriott I've ever stayed at. The breakfast area was incredibly crowded; I ended up eating outside the restaurant, right by the restroom. The facilities are good, but the management is a huge problem. This is a Fairfield by Marriott. I suggest they remove the Marriott branding, or it will negatively impact the Marriott reputation.

I was very satisfied with my stay at the hotel. Manager Zang provided excellent and friendly service, and the room facilities were new. The only downside was that the surrounding road construction wasn't finished yet, but the breakfast was plentiful. I believe things will only get better, and I'll definitely stay here again.
