Pickalbatros Properties in Hurghada

I booked a garden view king room, and the guy at the front desk helped me upgrade it to a suite. I thought it was a good thing, but I found that the room facilities were old, and the air conditioner was the kind of knob, and the temperature could not be lowered even when it was set to 15 degrees. I was given one card for one suite, but I had to plug in two cards for two rooms to get electricity, which was ridiculous. There were so many mosquitoes in the room at night, and there were no mosquito repellent lamps or anything, so I didn't sleep well all night. The hotel has many swimming pools and water parks, restaurants and bars, and there are occasional shows. The entertainment activities are amazing, and you won't be bored even if you stay in the hotel for a day. All three meals are buffet and included in the room rate. The food is okay, and the price-performance ratio is still OK.

The hotel is very close to the airport, about 4 kilometers away, and 8 kilometers from town. The overall environment is pleasant, with a beach, pool, ocean, and sunrise. The room amenities are average, comparable to a domestic budget hotel. The three meals a day are excellent, with snacks and tea breaks in between. The breakfast is the most extensive, and there are performances in the evening. It's a great place to relax for a few days. The journey from China was a bit arduous, with over 24 hours between departure and check-in.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. It's huge; you could easily walk 20,000 steps a day without even leaving the hotel. There are countless swimming pools; there's practically one right outside your room. And since it was Halloween, the cakes were gorgeous!

We spent 8 days at the resort. And we have very good time. A lot activity for all people. Kids. Grown up A lot of entertainment everyday something new Variety of food suits all appetites. The crew and service are superb. I will visit pickalbatros over and over again E Gerges

We love this hotel. This is our first time in Hurghada and we made a great decision to stay here. The hotel is nice and clean, the room facing a swimming pool, with great AC, the only downside is the water pressure at the bathroom is a bit low. We stayed here for 7 days, during our stay we enjoyed all the hotel facilities. You will never go hungry staying in this hotel 😂 they have many restaurants with a lot of options for food. We will come back here for sure.

Be prepared for some stairs at this hotel, but the views are absolutely stunning. You can just head downstairs and snorkel right off the hotel to see tons of small fish. Most of the staff are really friendly and happy to help with anything you need. Building 5 definitely offers unobstructed sea views, but be aware that lower floors in other buildings might have their views partially blocked. (The cocktails at the main building's bakery are much better and more refined; the ones at the beach bar are a bit sloppy.)

The hotel is very large. We stayed in a room on the first floor. The overall environment was relatively clean. However, when we first checked in, we found several hairs on the sink in the toilet. The room was dimly lit. The food in the restaurant was not tasty. During outdoor activities, we could see the staff cleaning all the time. This hotel is very suitable for bringing children to play various amusement facilities. It is far from the hotel's own beach and there are many people. You can either take a shuttle bus or walk there.

Before booking, I saw some reviews about the hotel's discriminatory treatment and was quite worried, but after checking in, I felt that it was beyond my expectations. 1. At first, the air conditioner in the room was broken. It was not repaired after two days of repair. We applied for a room change, and the hotel responded very quickly and changed the room. Later, when we met the hotel staff, they still asked us enthusiastically whether the air conditioner was repaired. 2. Because of the temporary change of itinerary, we communicated with the hotel whether we could refund one night's room fee. The hotel also cooperated very well and refunded the fee. I also thank Ctrip's customer service for their hard work in following up. Of course, there are some shortcomings: 1. I don't know if it's because of this season, there are so many mosquitoes in the hotel! Especially if you have travel plans in the near future, you must bring mosquito repellent items! Of course, you can also ask housekeeping to provide mosquito repellent. My child was bitten 16 times on his face on the first night, and both hands were swollen (we also beat mosquitoes for half a night and killed 5!). 2. We booked a three-meal all-inclusive package. Maybe because we have lived in the UAE for a long time, we have adapted to the white food a little bit, but in fact, we couldn't eat it on the third day. So Chinese stomachs can choose two meals and go out to eat some seafood to adjust (the hotel all-inclusive package does not include seafood). Overall, it's OK, and the kids also had a lot of fun

Very good resort hotel, you won't be bored after a few days of fun. The whole hotel is full of Europeans, and we hardly saw any Asians except our family. The family room has two beds, one large and one small. It's a big room, enough for accommodation. The water park is fun, and the restaurant is all-inclusive. The waiters are very enthusiastic and didn't ask for tips. After checking out, I took a taxi. If I couldn't contact the front desk, they would be happy to help me. Thank you! I booked a boat to go out to sea at the hotel, which is safe and convenient. The Red Sea is so beautiful. I saw a lot of fish and corals while snorkeling!

The room was just okay. We stayed in an overwater bungalow, but if you prefer quiet, beware—the disco music blared until 11 PM. The kids had a blast, though. There were over 10 restaurants, but most served 'white people food' which wasn't very good. The seafood restaurant cost extra. If you're here to play, don't be picky about the food and lodging. The water games are open from 10 AM to 12 PM and again from 2 PM to 5 PM. After 7 PM, land-based mini-games and the VR arcade open up. There are also parties, so you definitely won't get bored. The lobby building offers free ice cream and afternoon tea. Lots of Russians, very few Chinese.
