Old hotel, the breakfast in the morning horrible choices with lots of items missing.

I booked a room with two beds in it and was given a room with a king bed and couch. We had three people in our party. I had to ask for sheets and a blanket. I can only hope they were clean. Also, there weren’t enough towels, so I had to make another trip to the front desk. The sheets on the bed had stains on them. It just wasn’t a good experience.

Very disappointing. We stayed here for a quick fall break trip and booked this particular hotel because it had a pool and was a good location for the activities we wanted to do. I called ahead to confirm the pool was open before booking. The man on the phone said it was, so I booked! We weren’t expecting to walk into the Ritz Carlton by any means but it was apparent that there hasn’t been much updating done in a long time. Imagine my shock when the woman checking us in says “the pool ain’t working, so you know.” Then follows it up with the Wi-Fi is in and out. We aren’t visiting the area for the hotel alone but after we hyped our three young kids up about how we could take a swim in the evening only to have to tell them we couldn’t, we were disappointed. The room had a no smoking sign but it was apparent that people had been smoking either in the hallway or possibly in our room. The continental breakfast was ok but the man working the front desk the next day really needs to lighten up. He was not very friendly at all.

Leaking faucet in bathtub along with rust in the tub. Closet smelled like mold. Entire room smelled like water from the constant leaking.

AC made a clanking” noise very loudly all night! Next morning I showed a recording of the loud noise it made all night and they only offered a refund for half the cost of the room. I was in town for a business meeting and arrived after midnight and had only a few hours to sleep, this made for a miserable day the following day.
