I ve been in Huizhou for several nights in three different hotels during CNY. The service , facilities was not as what I had expected from the Renaissance. I thought it would be as good as Renaissance series.but it turned out poor facilities and services. No heating in the room, not responsive. The hotel left me with an impression of coldness, indifference, inefficiency.I prefer Pullman Huizhou . I took 2 kids with me thinking the more expensive ,the better hotel. Now I know that is not always true. Some hotels just charge more that what they can offer. The room tariff was 1088yuan per night, but it was not as good (worse than )as those 888 yuan or 699 yuan per night in other Huizhou hotel .PS:the treadmill are different in Renaissance & Pullman .用瘪足英文更客观,不带情绪。

After reading the previous reviews, there are mixed reviews. The actual experience after checking in is completely different from that of a light luxury hotel. It is very, very grand. The hotel opened in 2019 and the design is very careful. The construction materials are very, very solid and high quality is reflected everywhere. The lobby, corridors and rooms are basically made of marble and mahogany. It feels like being in the Beijing Military Museum and the Great Hall of the People. There are many rooms with various functions on both sides of the long corridor, which are well maintained. At the same time, it can be seen that maintenance costs are high and difficult, and the occupancy rate is not high. Employees are actively working to help themselves, but the investment should be insufficient. After all, the monthly electricity bill is 10,000 yuan. The Chinese restaurant bamboo products are good and the prices are reasonable. I really like this old hotel and hope it gets better and better, otherwise it would be a shame. Someone commented earlier that the soap was moldy. It must be the plants in the soap.

West Lake/ Bus Station
Heard a lot about this 5***** hotel, so I booked it for the covinient from the bus from hk airport. Not very impressed and certainly doesn't meet the standard of a 5***** it once was. The room is stuffy and a bit of damp smell, although it's a non- smoker room, I paid 66£ for a night, and I requested to place me in a quiet area, so they upgraded me from the 5th floor which was above the Karaoke, to the 15th floor. Nice view of the west lake. The room is big enough but decoration is old, needs future renovation as I wouldn't stay there next time and there are better hotels out there in the area. However, the staff are very attentive and super friendly, after checking out, a young male asked how was my stay, and i said it was OK, it smells musky in the room, he apologised and gave me a goody bag with sweets and a cute stuff toy.

It was my first time in this resort and I enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the area was nice and quiet (perfect if you want to get away for some peace and quiet), and my room was lovely. My only draw back was that the tub in my room was a bit small. I'm already a tall person so it was a bit of a squeeze but still enjoyable. The food at the restaurant was more on the Chinese side but that's to be expected given the country we're in (even at a global hotel chain). If you do not have a problem with Chinese food, then you will enjoy the food. I personally liked the boiled shrimp and a spicy crab dish that they had available for dinner. I'm glad I ended up finding this location on Trip, and I would be back again.

Traveling on weekdays, it takes almost 2 hours from Shenzhen~ The hotel is in a resort, next to the Intercontinental and several other hotels, but the surrounding area is relatively deserted~ environment: Japanese style, the overall environment is okay, suitable for relaxing when there are few people ~ Facilities: The hotel has not been open for a long time, but the maintenance is not very good. It is a bit old. The curtains are stained, the sink is yellow, and the floor is cracked and damaged. Service: Full marks for service, housekeeper Xiaojing is enthusiastic and dedicated, and other service staff are also smiling and polite ~ Hygiene: The bed surface is relatively tidy, but there are ants on the table. It is understandable that there are ants due to the weather in Guangdong. Be careful with mysophobia. spa: The room has an indoor hot spring, which feels relatively clean. There are also many outdoor hot springs, and it is very comfortable to relax in the hot spring. Leisure and entertainment: There are some entertainment projects provided, and lawn projects are more recommended. I haven’t experienced indoor activities, so I don’t know~ Dining room: The food was slow to come out, and we were the only one at the table. We had to wait for more than half an hour before the food was served~ The taste and price are acceptable~
